KEA conducts DCET option entry 2026 to allow participating students to fill in their choices for B.Tech/B. Arch courses and colleges. The KEA conducts Karnataka DCET option entry online, and only those students who qualify for the exam are eligible to participate in the DCET option entry. In order to exercise the option entry, you will have to scan your QR or log in with your CET no. Everyone participating in the option entry process has to make sure to fill in as many choices of their preferred colleges and courses and submit them before the last date. Based on the preferred choices marked, KEA releases the Karnataka DCET 2026 seat allotment result.

Steps of Karnataka DCET Option Entry 2026

The students can follow the steps mentioned below to fill out the option entry form for Karnataka DCET 2026:

Step 1: Applicants will have to click on the direct link mentioned above or visit the official website of KEA. Enter the DCET Number to log in.

Step 2: Click on the relevant option entry link, and you will see the list of courses. Select any course.

Step 3: After selecting the course, the list of colleges offering the respective course will be displayed.

Step 4: In sequential order, give a priority number to colleges like 1, 2, 3, 4, etc.

Step 5: To choose a different course, you can click on College Type again and add priority numbers.

Step 6: Click on ‘View Selected Option’ to check the entered options before the final submission

How to Modify/ Edit Options in KCET 2026 Option Entry?

After the mock allotment, participants will be allowed to modify options as per the specified dates. It is advisable to modify options only if required.

Step 1: The students will have to log in by using their DCET Number.
Step 2: Click on ‘Modify Selected Option’.
Step 3: You can change the priority numbers accordingly.
Step 4: Click on the ‘Update’ button to confirm.

Documents Required for Karnataka DCET Counseling 2026

Students need to make sure that they have the following documents ready while participating in the Karnataka DCET counselling process 2026:

  • Education and Academic Certificates: SSLC Mark Sheets, Class 10th and 12th Certificates, Equivalent examination marks.
  • Diploma Marksheets: All mark sheets of the diploma course (for each semester) or equivalent exam marks.
