Karnataka DCET 2024 counselling will be conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority in the online mode at kea.kar.nic.in. Only candidates who have qualified the Karnataka DCET 2024 exam will be eligible to take part in the Karnataka DCET counselling 2024. Step-by-Step Process for Karnataka DCET 2024 Counselling

The various stages of the Karnataka DCET 2024 counselling process have been explained below - 

  • Registration and Choice Filling: Candidates must register online for the Karnataka DCET 2024 counselling process. and fill out the colleges and courses in order of preference.  

  • Seat Allotment: The authorities will allocate seats as per the candidate’s rank, preference and availability of seats. The seat allotment result will be announced in online mode after each round of counselling. 

  • Document Verification: Candidates who will be allotted seats shall need to verify their documents at the designated centres. They must visit the centres with the original, as well as a set of attested photocopies of the relevant documents for submission.

  • Fee Payment: Candidates are required to pay the acceptance fee through a demand draft to confirm their admission. Failure to pay the fee within the stipulated timeframe shall result in the disqualification of the candidates. 

  • Reporting at Allotted Colleges: Finally, after the fee payment and document/certificate verification, candidates must report to their colleges allotted to them. 

List of Documents Required for Karnataka DCET 2024 Counselling

Candidates are required to produce the following documents for verification during the Karnataka DCET 2024 counselling - 

  • A printout of the DCET 2024 application form

  • An original copy or proof of the Challan made at the time of fee payment

  • Karnataka DCET-2024 Hall Ticket

  • SSLC/10th standard or equivalent marksheet

  • A diploma or equivalent scorecard for all the years/semesters

  • Study certificate countersigned by the concerned BEO/DDPI (for candidate belonging to the state of Karnataka)

  • 2 recent passport-size colour photographs

  • Rural Study Certificate (for candidates claiming to be under the rural category reservation)

  • Kannada Medium Study Certificate (for candidates availing of Kannada Medium quota)

  • Caste Certificate

  • Income proof
