Karnataka DCET Counselling 2025

KEA conducts the Karnataka DCET 2025 counselling process for qualified students to offer admission to 2nd-year B.Tech (lateral entry) courses. Before starting the DCET counselling process, KEA releases the course-wise seat matrix. The Karnataka Diploma CET counselling is usually conducted in two rounds. However, if seats are left vacant after the initial rounds, the authority might hold another round of counselling to fill the seats. DCET counselling 2025 involves multiple stages, including registration, document verification, option entry, seat allotment based on merit rank and Karnataka DCET 2025 choice filling, fee payment, and finally, reporting to allotted colleges. The exam authority has released the final seat allotment for the round 3 counselling on August 22, 2025. Earlier, provisional seat allotment was released. The last date to download the challan form is August 27, 2025, and the last date to submit the counselling fees is August 28, 2025. Following this, you are required to download the confirmation slip by August 29, and finally, the last date to report to the allotted colleges is August 30, 2025.

Step-by-Step Process for Karnataka DCET 2025 Counselling

The various stages of the Karnataka DCET 2025 counselling process have been explained below - 

  • Document Verification: You must attend the designated centres for document verification according to the schedule. You must come to the facility with all of your original documentation. You will be required to carry a "Verification Slip" following the verification procedure, which will include a "Unique Keyword".

  • Option Entry: During the option entry procedure, you must pick your colleges and courses. You will be able to submit as many selections as you like before the deadline.

  • Seat Allotment: The authorities will publish the DCET 2025 seat allotment result based on the merit list, your marks, and the alternatives you have locked in. Qualified students must report to their designated college and pay the fees. If you are not satisfied with the seats, you have to wait for further counselling rounds. 

  • Fee Payment: In order for admission to be confirmed, you must pay the required fees using a demand draft. You will be disqualified if you do not pay the fee by the deadline.
