KMAT Kerala 2018 counselling process begins once the result of KMAT Kerala 2018 is declared by the exam conducting authority. The counselling of the candidates is done on the basis of the merit list, which is prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the exam.
KMAT Kerala 2018 counselling is expected to begin in the month of April 2018 wherein qualified candidates will be called and will be required to produce the necessary documents.
Candidates qualifying in the entrance exam, i.e. those candidates who score the minimum cut-off marks or more than that are allowed to participate in KMAT Kerala 2018 counselling process.
University/college sets the cut-off criteria of KMAT Kerala 2018, and candidates meeting the cut-off criteria can apply to the colleges/university (on individual basis).
As part of the KMAT Kerala 2018 counselling process, candidates have to undergo the document verification process, before going for admission formalities and candidates are allotted seats in the college/university of their choice as per the seat availability.
For document verification, candidates are required to carry the following documents (both in original and photocopy):
KMAT 2018 Scorecard
Class 10th and 12th Mark sheet or equivalent issued by State board
Domicile Certificate (for Kerala resident candidates)
Graduation Certificates and Mark sheet up to final year issued by an UGC recognised university
Caste/class Certificate issued by the competent authority
To all the qualified candidates, seats in various participating colleges are allotted on the basis of the performance of the candidate in the entrance exam and according to the merit list.
After result declaration of KMAT Kerala 2018, a merit list of all the qualified candidates is going to be prepared once the Group Discussion /Interview rounds are over.
Based on these ranks of the candidates in KMAT Kerala 2018, admission process begins in various colleges/university under KMAT 2018.
