Kerala Management Aptitude Test, short for KMAT, is an entrance examination conducted on a state-level. KMAT is organised in offline (Pen & Paper based) mode for the candidates seeking admission in MBA programmes offered in various Government/Private colleges of Kerala. KMAT Kerala 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for KMAT Kerala, candidates are advised to take a look at the eligibility criteria of KMAT Kerala. KMAT Kerala eligibility criteria is prescribed by Mahatma Gandhi University, and supervised by Admission Supervisory Committee. The eligibility criteria of KMAT Kerala lays stress on the nationality and educational qualification of the candidate applying for the entrance exam.

In order to take the exam, candidates must fulfill the KMAT Kerala eligibility norms as it is mandatory for all the appearing candidates. Candidates failing to meet the criteria of eligibility are not allowed to sit for the entrance test.

In terms of Nationality:

  • Candidate must be a citizen of India.

  • Candidate should be a native of Kerala.

In terms of Educational Qualification:

  • Candidate should have completed his/her Graduation of minimum 3 years duration.

  • Candidates should have Bachelors’ degree from any recognised authority in Management, Commerce, Arts, Social Sciences, Engineering / Technology or equivalent.

  • Appearing candidate in final year of the qualifying examination can also apply for the exam provided his/her result is declared before the commencement of the admission process.

  • Candidate should have secured at least 50% aggregate in his/her qualifying examination.

  • SC/ST category candidate should have secured at least 40% aggregate in the qualifying examination.

KMAT Kerala 2018 Counselling

KMAT Kerala 2018 counselling process begins once the result of KMAT Kerala 2018 is declared by the exam conducting authority. The counselling of the candidates is done on the basis of the merit list, which is prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the exam.

KMAT Kerala 2018 counselling is expected to begin in the month of April 2018 wherein qualified candidates will be called and will be required to produce the necessary documents.

  • Candidates qualifying in the entrance exam, i.e. those candidates who score the minimum cut-off marks or more than that are allowed to participate in KMAT Kerala 2018 counselling process.
