Section A- English Language and Reading Comprehension
Here, in this section, the knowledge and proficiency in the English language will be judged. Candidates will be asked to answer questions of the unseen passages. Mostly the questions asked are direct, and the difficulty level of this section is easy to moderate.
Section B: Quantitative Aptitude
In this section, candidates basic mathematical ability will be tested. The level of difficulty for this section is moderate to high most of the times. Quantitative Aptitude is regarded as one of the major scoring sections of KMAT exam. The questions in the Quantitative Aptitude section of KMAT exam might be either in the form of sets or individual ones.
Section C: Data Sufficiency & Logical Reasoning
In this section, questions related to reasoning and logical thinking will be asked. Various questions regarding numbers, numerical calculations and arithmetic problems involving percentage, interest, ratio & proportion, time and speed, etc will be tested. Also, in this section, questions can be asked from Quantitative Reasoning, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Interpretation of tables, graphs, charts, etc.
Section D: General Knowledge & Contemporary Business Scenario
To prepare for the General Knowledge & Contemporary Business Scenario section, there is no exact syllabus. However, this section will test candidates’ GK from past and present. For this section, candidates must be well aware of the current scenario at state, national and international level and should read newspapers, magazines, watch TV and listen to the news to know the happenings around the globe.
