MCAER PGCET 2026 Exam

The MCAER PGCET exam 2026 is expected to be conducted by the Maharashtra Agriculture Universities Examination Board (MAUEB) in the first week of June 2026. The official MCAER PGCET notification 2026 will be tentatively released in February 2026. Along with the official notification for the MCAER PGCET examination, the registrations will also begin around the same time.

The MCAER PGCET 2026 application form will be released on the official website of MAUEB @mcaer.org/maueb.html in the second week of February 2026. What is MCAER PGCET 2026 Exam?

The MCAER CET PG 2026 examination, or the Maharashtra Council of Agricultural Education and Research Postgraduate Common Entrance Test, will be administered by the Maharashtra Agricultural Universities Examination Board (MAUEB). This state-level examination is conducted in the offline mode to offer admissions to PG degree programmes in courses like Master of Technology (MTech Course), Master of Science (MSc Course), and Master of Fisheries Science (MFSc) programmes.

The MCAER PGCET 2026 exam dates will be released soon. Every year, approximately 10,000 students sit for this entrance exam. Earlier, the MCAER PGCET examination was conducted to offer admissions in UG courses in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Bachelor of Fisheries Science, BTech Agricultural Engineering, BTech Food Technology, BSc Hons in Community Science, and Biotechnology Engineering. Now, admissions to these courses are based on entrance examinations, such as JEE/ MHT CET/ ICAR AIEEA/ NEET, etc.

  • BTech (Agri.Engg.) candidates are also eligible for admission to “Agril. Meteorology” subject only with CET- Subject: Agriculture.

MCAER PGCET 2026 Counselling Process

The MCAER PGCET counselling process 2026 will be conducted by the Maharashtra Agricultural Universities Examination Board in September 2026. After the MCAER PG CET merit list 2026 has been released by the board, the counselling process will soon follow. Students will be eligible for the Maharashtra PGCET counselling rounds only if their name is mentioned in the merit list.
