What is MCAER PGCET 2022?

Conducted by Maharashtra Agriculture Universities Examination Board (MAUEB), MCAER PGCET is held every year to provide PG level admission in Master of Engineering and Technology (M.Tech), Master of Science (M.Sc.) and Master of Fisheries Science (M.F.Sc.) offered by State Agricultural Universities (SAUs) located in Maharashtra.

The entrance test is a State-level entrance test that is held in pencil-paper/ offline mode and around 10,000 candidates take the exam every year. Earlier, MCAER PGCET 2022 was held to offer admission in UG level professional degree courses like- B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture, B.Sc. (Hons.) Forestry, B.F.Sc., B.Tech. (Agricultural Engineering), B.Tech. (Food Technology), B.Sc. (Hons.) Community Science and B.Tech. (Biotechnology) in Agricultural. But now, admission to the aforementioned courses is granted through the aspirant’s performance in entrance exams like JEE/ MHT CET/ ICAR AIEEA/ NEET.

MCAER PGCET 2022 Admit Card

The admit card of MCAER PGCET 2022 has been released on the official website of the Maharashtra Council of Agricultural Education and Research. In order to download the hall ticket, candidates can simply log in by entering their respective Application Numbers and Date of Birth.

MCAER PGCET 2022 Counselling

MCAER PG CET counselling 2022 schedule and the process will be declared on the official website of the exam. It will be announced after the result has been released online. Only those candidates who have names on the merit list are allowed to participate in the counselling process of MCAER PGCET 2022.

There will be a total of three MCAER PG CET counselling rounds and it may vary depending on the vacant seats left. To participate in the counselling process, candidates will have to be present at the designated counselling venue on the designated date and get their documents verified.
