MICAT Notification 2026 Overview

The MICAT Notification 2026 can be expected to be released by the first week of October 2025. MICAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria

To be qualified to appear for the MICAT exam, you must satisfy the following MICAT 2026 eligibility criteria:

  • It is mandatory for you to have obtained a bachelor’s degree of at least three years’ duration or its equivalent from a university recognized by UGC.
  • If you are in the final year of Graduation and awaiting results, you will also be considered eligible.
  • MICA Ahmedabad has not specified any maximum age limit for appearing in the MICAT. You must be a graduate from a recognised university or be in the final year of your bachelor’s degree programme to appear for MICAT.
  • Also note that you are eligible to apply for and take the MICAT for admission to MICA Ahmedabad only if you have taken the CAT 2025, XAT 2026, or GMAT exams.

MICAT 2026 Application Process

Two MICAT exams a year are conducted for admission to MICA Ahmedabad. You have the privilege to register for either MICAT-I, MICAT-II, or both. If you fail to register for the MICAT-I exam, you can still apply for MICAT-II. Follow the detailed step-by-step process given below to apply for the MICAT 2026 exam.

Following are the stages involved in MICAT 2026 registration

  1. Visit the official of MICA Ahmedabad website, i.e. www.mica.ac.in
  2. Click on the tab that says “Admissions Open Apply Online”.
  3. After this, you will find two options for MICAT 2026 registration i.e. New registration and Already registered users.
  4. If you are a new applicant, click on the 'New registration' tab, and an instructions page will appear on the screen.
  5. Read the instructions or terms and conditions and click on 'I Agree'.
  6. Next, fill in the details such as your name, mobile number, email address, security code, and password, agree to the terms & conditions, and click on the ‘Submit’ button.
  7. Your MICA ID and password will be generated and sent via registered email and SMS.

After Registration, you must fill out the MICAT 2026 application form following the steps mentioned below:

  1. Fill in your Personal Details like your parents’ details, date of birth, gender, age, nationality, marital status, Correspondence Address, and Postal Address.
  2. After this, you are required to enter your contact details and choice of centre (you have the provision of selecting 3 MICAT Exam Centres and also the GE/PI centre)
  3. Next, upload your Education details such as Class 10, Class 12, Graduation details, Master/PG Details, etc. and information related to your professional experience.
  4. Choose among management exam scores like CAT, XAT, and GMAT, and enter your scores.
  5. After this, upload your photograph and signature in JPEG or GIF format, whose file sizes must not exceed 80 KB.
  6. Next, go to the drop-down menu and select your preferred programme and choose the exam center and GE & PI center cities.
  7. Finally, complete the application process by paying the requisite MICAT exam fee INR 2100 (non-refundable) for all the categories through online mode or through Cash (SBI Bank Only)/Demand Draft.

MICAT 2026 Syllabus & Exam Pattern

Since MICAT focuses on the PGDM in Communications programme, its syllabus and exam pattern are different from that of other MBA entrance exams. MICAT Admit Card 2026

The MICAT 2026 admit card will be released on the official MICA website, i.e., mica.ac.in for candidates completing their MICAT 2026 registration before the deadline. Separate MICAT hall tickets will be released for both Phases 1 & 2 of the exam. You can download your MICAT admit card 2026 using your Application Number/ Login ID and Password. The details mentioned on the admit card include Name, Address of the MICAT 2026 exam centre, Roll number, Photograph & Signature of the candidate, date and time of the entrance exam, and exam day guidelines. It is mandatory for you to take a printed copy of their MICAT hall ticket along with you to the MICAT exam center and keep it safe until the entire admission process is completed successfully.
