The Manipal University Online Entrance Test Application Process 2018 started from 17th October, 2017 and it will end on 26th March, 2018. Interested candidates can fill the application form online by visiting the official website of Manipal University. The entrance exam is taken by students who wish to pursue engineering at the postgraduate level. The MU OET 2018 slot booking starts from the 4th week of March and will continue until the 2nd week of April 2018.

Candidates must upload their scanned signature and a recent passport size coloured photograph in JPEG format.
Selfie photos are not allowed.
The scanned signature and the photograph must not be less than 100KB.

It is important for candidates to know that the request for change of Mobile Number/ Correspondence Address/ E-Mail ID will not be initiated by the University.

1. How do I apply and from where do I get the application?
You can apply online for the course from the official website of Manipal University. If you want the application form and brochure to be posted/mailed to you, then write to: firstname.lastname@example.org and don’t forget to write your postal address.
2. Once I apply, what will happen?
After sending the application form along with the mentioned documents and application fee, the university will register the form and allot an application number to the candidate. The candidate will then receive a mail from the university with the application number allotted by Manipal University. Other relevant information including information related to the admission letter will also be mentioned in the mail sent by the university.
3. Can I apply to more than one course? Can I do it in a single application?
Yes, you can apply for more than one course. If the courses you have opted for fall in the same group, then you can state your choices in one single application form.
However, if you opt for courses in different groups, then you will need to fill separate application forms.
4. I missed the last date for sending in my application. Can I still apply?
No, you cannot apply after the last date is over.
5. Who is eligible for the MU OET B.Tech?
Candidates who have cleared 10+2 or A-Level or IB or American 12th grade or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics and English as major subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or any technical vocational subjects as optional with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible to apply for MU-OET 2018.
6. Are diploma holders eligible to apply for the programme?
No, diploma holders are not eligible to apply for the programme.
7. If the CBSE or 12th results are declared late, then how does a student apply?
Students with result awaited can confirm their provisional admission based on expected performance in their 12th boards. Provisional admission letters will be issued to students willing to take up MU OET. However, the final admissions will be provided after the final mark sheets and documentation provided by the students are verified by the university.
