Bharath Engineering Entrance Exam, commonly known as BEEE, is organised every year by Bharath University. BEEE is conducted in both online and offline modes to enroll candidates in B.Tech and B.Arch courses offered by the university. It is through this entrance exam that the qualified candidates are given admission in undergraduate engineering courses.

BEEE 2018 Eligibility Criteria

The BEEE 2018 eligibility criteria has been prescribed by the Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research (BIHER) or Bharath University. In order to apply for B.Tech or B.Arch courses offered by the university, applicants have to meet the eligibility criteria of BEEE 2018. Applicants not satisfying the BEEE 2018 eligibility criteria will not be given admission in B.Tech or B.Arch courses.

BEEE 2018 Exam Pattern

BEEE 2018 exam pattern gives a fair idea to the candidates about the format of the entrance exam, type of questions, marking scheme, weightage given to each section in the entrance exam. Before appearing for BEEE 2018, candidates are recommended to go through the detailed pattern of the exam.

  • BEEE 2018 is conducted in two phases - Phase 1 and Phase 2. Phase 1 is conducted in offline (pen-paper based) mode and Phase 2 is conducted in both offline and online modes.

  • BEEE 2018 covers subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics and English in the entrance exam.

  • The total time duration of the entrance exam is two and a half hours (2 hours 30 minutes).

  • Multiple-type of questions are asked in the entrance exam.

  • For each correct response, 1 mark is awarded to the candidate.

  • Negative marking is not applicable in BEEE 2018.

Have A Concrete Study Plan:

BEEE 2018 Result

Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research (BIHER) has announced the BEEE 2018 Result on 6th May, 2018. Candidates can view their BEEE result in online mode by visiting the official website of the Institute. To access and download the BEEE 2018 scorecard, appeared candidates have to enter their roll number as well as mobile number.

After the result declaration, a merit list is prepared for the qualified candidates on the basis of the marks secured by them in the entrance exam. Shortlisted/ qualified candidates of BEEE 2018 are called for the BEEE 2018 counselling process.

How to View BEEE 2018 Result

Step 1: Visit the official website of Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research (BIHER).

Step 2: A link for accessing BEEE 2018 Result is available on the homepage.

Step 3: Click on the link and a new page will open where you will have to enter your roll number and mobile number.

Step 4: After clicking on 'Submit', BEEE 2018 result will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5: Download the BEEE 2018 result for future reference.

BEEE 2018 Cut-off

Once the result of BEEE 2018 is announced, the BEEE 2018 cut-off is prepared for the candidates. As part of the admission process, candidates have to meet the BEEE 2017 cut-off in order to be selected for the counselling session. BEEE 2018 cut-off lists the minimum score that candidates must obtain to take admission in various engineering courses offered by Bharath University.

Factors Determining BEEE 2018 Cut-off

Below are some of the deciding factors for preparing BEEE 2018 cut-off:

  • The difficulty level of the questions asked in the entrance exam.

  • The average scores obtained by the candidates in the entrance exam.

  • The total number of students appearing in the entrance exam.

  • The total number of seats available in different courses offered by the University.

BEEE 2018 Counselling

The counselling for BEEE 2018 is going to be conducted from 1st June to 5th June, 2018 in offline mode. BEEE 2018 counselling is conducted for the candidates who successfully qualify in the entrance exam. Candidates are short-listed on the basis of their merit and accordingly, seats are allotted to the qualified candidates in the B.Tech course.

Note: Without appearing in BEEE 2018 counselling, candidates are not allowed to take admission in the programme.

Detailed BEEE 2018 Counselling Process

  • To be eligible for BEEE 2018 counselling session, candidates have to qualify in both offline and online exams.

  • Candidates have to visit the counselling venue to participate in the BEEE 2018 counselling session.

  • It is mandatory to carry all the relevant documents while appearing for the BEEE 2018 counselling.

  • In the BEEE 2018 counselling, candidates who are once given slot in the first stage, are not allowed to take another slot in the second stage.

  • In case of a technical error, if the scorecard of a particular candidate is on hold, even then the candidate can appear for the counselling with an under-taking.

  • Allotment of seats for BEEE 2018 counselling is done as per the rank of the candidate.

  • To appear in the BEEE 2018 counselling session, candidates must carry a demand draft of INR 20,000 in favour of Bharath University, Chennai, as without a demand draft, candidates will not be allowed to appear for the counselling session.

Documents Required During BEEE 2018 Counselling

During the counselling session, candidates need to carry the following documents along with them:

  • BEEE 2018 Admit card

  • BEEE 2018 Score Card

  • Call Letter from the University

  • Mark sheet of class 10

  • Mark sheet of class 12

  • Caste Certificate (for SC/ST/ OBC)

  • Demand draft of INR 20,000 drawn in favour of Bharath University, Chennai

  • Migration Certificate/Transfer Certificate (if any)

  • Aadhar Card/ Voter id Card/ Passport/Ration Card/

  • Character certificate from the last institute

  • Domicile Certificate for Jammu & Kashmir and North-Eastern State candidates

  • Six recent Passport size photographs with a white background that should be similar to the one in BEEE 2018 application form.

  • Four copies of the passport size photographs with a white background of Parent or Guardians.

How to Apply For BEEE 2018

The BEEE 2018 application form has already been released by the exam conducting authority. Applicants willing to pursue B.Tech/B.Arch courses offered by Bharath University must submit their respective applications before the last date, i.e. before February 28, 2018 (for online) and April 8, 2018 (for offline). The application form of BEEE 2018 can be filled and submitted both in online and offline modes.

As a part of the BEEE 2018 application process, applicants must pay INR 1000 as BEEE 2018 application fee in online or offline mode. By following the steps given below, applicants can fill their BEEE 2018 application form:

  • The first step of filling the BEEE 2018 application form is to register on the official website of the university by entering Name, E-mail-ID, State, Gender and Mobile number.

  • After entering all the details, a user ID and Password is sent to applicants' registered E-mail ID.

  • Candidates have to confirm the password with E-mail ID and Password received on the registered E-mail ID.

Step 2: Filling up of BEEE Application Form

  • The next step is to enter personal details, course details, academic details and other details like exam preference (online or written).​

Step 3: Uploading Scanned Images of Photograph and Signature

After entering the details, applicants are required to upload their:

  • Passport sized Photograph (size should be less than 200 KB with the dimension of 3.5 X 4.5 cm and only .jpg format is allowed)

  • Scanned Signature (Size should be less than 200 KB with the dimension of 3.5 X 1.5 cm and only .jpg format is allowed).

Step 4: Payment of BEEE 2018 Application Fee

  • Applicants have an option to make the BEEE 2018 application fee payment in online or offline mode.

  • Applicants can pay online by Credit Card/Debit card or Net Banking.
