NMAT by GMAC Result 2017

The NMAT by GMAC result 2017 for two testing windows – from October 5 to 19 and the second one from October 20 to November 3 – has been released. Candidates who appeared for the exam have been notified about the same via email. No hard copy of the NMAT by GMAC scorecard is sent via post or courier. The result is available online, and the test takers are required to log in with their User ID and Password to view their NMAT by GMAC scorecard 2017, which includes candidates' percentile.

The final NMAT by GMAC 2017 result and scorecard is expected to be announced on 21st January, 2018. The final NMAT by GMAC scorecard will comprise of candidates' sectional scale score, total score and the percentile rank.

NMAT by GMAC is a University-level entrance examination, which is organised and conducted by the Graduate Management Aptitude Council (GMAC) to offer admission in various management courses. NMAT by GMAC 2017 was conducted in a window period of 5th October 2017, to 18th December 2017. The result of NMAT by GMAC 2017 is released in the form of a scorecard, which indicates candidate’s sectional score, overall score, and percentile. Based on NMAT by GMAC result, the participating institutes/colleges shortlist successful candidates for the final selection process. The NMAT by GMAC scorecard showcases the real performance of the candidates in the examination, therefore, all the appearing candidates must take a print out of the scorecard and keep it safe till the completion of the admission process.

Steps to View NMAT by GMAC Result 2017:

  • Visit the official website of NMAT by GMAC 2017, www.nmat.org.in.
  • Click on the tab mentioning 'Check Your Result'.
  • Enter your login credentials such as 'Registration Number' and 'Password'.
  • Now, click on the 'Login' button.
  • NMAT by GMAC result 2017 will be displayed on the screen.
  • Download and print your scorecard for further use.

NMAT by GMAC Scorecard:

The final scorecard includes a scaled score for each section, total score, and percentile ranking. The following table gives details about the range of possible scores in the different sections of NMAT by GMAC exam:

NMAT by GMAC Result Trends of Previous Years

As per the NMAT by GMAC 2016 results, if a candidate had a scaled score of 235, it was equivalent to 99 percentile. If a test taker had achieved a scaled score of 214, it was considered equivalent to 97 percentile. And, a scaled score of 208 is was considered equal to 94 percentile.

1. When will the NMAT by GMAC results be declared? 

The NMAT by GMAC scaled scores by section and test total scaled score will be announced within 4 to 5 weeks after the test taker has taken the exam. The percentile scores will be calculated after all the test takers have taken their exams. 

2. How will a test taker receive the results? 

Test takers will not be sent any results directly. NMAT by GMAC will publish scaled scores section-wise within 4 to 5 weeks after the test taker has taken the exam. Candidates will be notified by email on availability of their score report, which a candidate can access by logging into the NMAT by GMAC account. 

3. Does NMAT have sectional cut-offs?

Yes, NMIMS has a provision for sectional cut-offs, most of the other B-schools accepting NMAT by GMAC scores do not have this provision.
