The RULET exam pattern 2026 will be released along with the exam notification. The exam pattern was updated by the university last year. The number of sections remains the same. However, the section-wise weightage was changed. Logical Reasoning & Quantitative Aptitude and Current Affairs, including General Knowledge, now have 25 questions each. Previously, the Logical Reasoning & Quantitative Aptitude segment had 10 questions, and the Current Affairs and GK component had 40 questions.

RULET is a law entrance exam that is held in offline mode. The test will have a total of 150 questions from subjects such as the English Language, Legal Reasoning, General Knowledge & Current Affairs and Quantitative Aptitude and Logical Reasoning.

The mode of the RULET 2026 exam is offline, i.e., Pen & Paper-Based Test. Candidates will be provided with an OMR sheet and a Question Booklet. They need to mark their answers on the OMR sheet with a blue or black point pen. The exam will be held in a pen-and-paper mode at various exam centres of RULET 2026 in Jaipur.
The evaluation of the answer scripts of RULET 2026 will be done on the basis of the marking scheme. That includes how the answers selected by candidates will be marked. The detailed RULET 2026 marking scheme has been explained below.

In the examination hall, the candidates will be provided with a Question Booklet, which will have 150 questions. The candidates should not mark the answer in the Question Booklet as the same needs to be done in an OMR sheet. The candidate must note that he / she should not write anything on the Question Booklet before the completion of the exam.
The candidates need to use only a Blue or Black Ball Point Pen to mark answers in the OMR sheet. Answers for all the 150 questions need to be bubbled with Pen on the OMR sheet. For example, if the candidate is answering the 2nd questions. The OMR sheet will have Q. No - 2 and 1, 2, 3, 4 against it. The candidates need to bubble the correct answer. Once the exam is over, the invigilator will retain the OMR answer sheet from the candidates, and the candidates can retain the Carbon Copy of the same. The carbon copy of OMR will help the candidates to estimate his/her score after checking the answer key.
