  • Art, Craft, Culture, Design and Environment: Candidates must memorise and learn about this section from both Indian and global contexts. The topics under this section such as period, people, influences, materials, tools and others should be known by the students. 
  • Observational, Perceptual and Reasoning Abilities: Under this section, aspirants must attain the ability to look beyond the given information and relate, compare and draw conclusions. 
  • Application of Basic Knowledge of Science and Mathematics: Understanding the foundational level of science and mathematics that were taught till class 10 and how are they relevant in everyday life and exercises.

Important Points for SEED 2024

Students appearing for SEED 2024 must remember some important points mentioned below:

  • Candidates must reach before time on the examination centre before because the ones arriving late will not be permitted to enter the centre.
  • Read all the instructions given on the admit card carefully and don’t forget to carry it. 
  • Carry any photo ID proof such as an Aadhar card, PAN card or any other document for verification.
  • Don’t carry any electronic gadgets such as mobile phones or calculators with you inside the exam premises.
  • Manage your time from the start to avoid missing out on any questions. 
  • Don’t get stuck on one question as it will waste your time.
  • Log in at least half an hour before the examination.

Symbiosis Institute of Design usually offers B.Des Admission through SEED scores. However, in 2020 and 2021 candidates were granted admission based on Online Portfolio Review and Personal Interaction Rounds. Students need to appear for the aforementioned admission processes in order to get admission in B.Des at Symbiosis Institute of Design. Without qualifying them, they cannot get admission to the institute.
