Each city can have multiple XAT exam centres 2024 where the exam will be conducted. The exam conducting authority assigns the XAT exam centres to the candidates based on the preferences they mentioned on their XAT 2024 application form. However, once a candidate selects a test centre during the XAT application process, they will not be allowed to change the XAT exam centre.

Selection of XAT exam centre 2024 can be done by following the steps mentioned below.
Complete the registration process for XAT 2024.
Fill in all of the details in the application form.
When prompted, select from the list of available exam centres.
You will be asked to enter 2 exam centre preferences.
Submit your choices and pay the XAT application fee to complete the application form.
Candidates are not allowed to modify their exam centre choices in XAT 2024 after they have submitted the application form. Candidates must also note that the final allotment of the exam centres depends on XLRI and your exam centre may be allotted from outside of your entered preferences. However, in practice, it rarely happens that a candidate does not get allotted their first or second preferred centre.

XAT is conducted in approximately 79 to 80 cities across India. During the application process, there is a field where you can select your preferred test cities. You can simply choose the cities that are most convenient for you from the dropdown list provided. The exam conducting authorities will allocate a test center in the city of your first choice to every candidate. If, for any reason, the seats in your first-choice city are filled, the center will be assigned in your second-choice city.
