Want to know more about XAT
While the XAT application form doesn't provide an option to select specific test centers, candidates have the opportunity to choose the cities where they would like to take the exam. XAT is conducted in approximately 79 to 80 cities across India. During the application process, there is a field where you can select your preferred test cities. You can simply choose the cities that are most convenient for you from the dropdown list provided. The exam conducting authorities will allocate a test center in the city of your first choice to every candidate. If, for any reason, the seats in your first-choice city are filled, the center will be assigned to your second-choice city. Center allocation is done on a first-come-first-served basis, so it's advisable to complete and submit your XAT application form as early as possible to increase your chances of getting your preferred test center.
Since the XAT exam is conducted in an online format, you are not required to bring any stationery items except for a blue or black ballpoint pen, which is needed for signing the attendance sheet. However, there are strict guidelines regarding items that are not allowed inside the XAT exam center. These include electronic devices such as phones, watches, iPads, calculators, and pagers. Additionally, metal items and clothing or accessories with metal components or jewelry are prohibited. Items like caps, headgear, sunglasses, clothing with pockets, and hoodies are also not allowed. It's essential to refrain from carrying bags and any valuable items as you won't be permitted to bring anything other than a pen and necessary documents into the exam center. It's essential to save this document in a secure location, such as a specific folder on your computer or in your email, to ensure you can access it whenever needed. Remember that the download link for the XAT admit card is typically available until the exam day itself. After the exam, you won't be able to retrieve it, so make sure to save it in advance.

It's important to be present at the test center well before the reporting time mentioned in the admit card, typically an hour before the exam. Arriving late may lead to disqualification, so using the route map is highly recommended for timely arrival.
