Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is one of the most common management entrance exam conducted nationally for the aspirants who wish to do MBA and PGDM courses from reputed B-School of India. XAT 2021 Detailed Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates should have done their bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration from any recognized university or institute.

  • Those candidates who will complete their final year examination by 10th June 2020 may also appear for XAT 2021 exam.

  • Only Indian, Dubai and Kathmandu candidates can apply directly for XAT Exam 2021. While NRI and Foreign candidates may apply through GMAT score.

  • There is no minimum percentage in Bachelor's Degree required for the XAT Exam 2021.

  • There is no age limit prescribed to appear in the XAT 2021 exam.

XLRI Programme: XAT Eligibility Criteria 2021

After applying for XAT Exam, candidates have the option to apply for admission to 11 member colleges of XLRI, which use XAT scores. Let’s check out the eligibility criteria and determining factors required for the programmes offered by XLRI.

Business Management (BM) and Human Resource Management (HRM)

  • Total number of seats offered by XLRI in these two programmes are 180 each.

  • Candidates interested in taking admission in BM and HRM must have a valid XAT scorecard along with the 3-year Bachelor's degree from any recognised university or institutes.

  • Candidates with Bachelor degree in a management course will be a plus point at the time of Selection Process of XAT 2021.

  • Candidates with result awaited or about to appear for the finals of the graduation degree by the deadline specified by XLRI, are also eligible for these courses.

Global Business Management

  • There are a total of 20 seats available for the aspirants of this course in XLRI.

  • A valid Bachelor’s Degree from a reputed college or institution is a must to be produced at the time admission process.

  • Scorecard of XAT 2021 or GMAT 2021 will be accepted for the admission in the two-year Global Management Business course offered by XLRI.

General Management Programme (GMP)

  • GMP candidates should have a Bachelor degree in India or 5 years managerial/ supervisory experiences abroad.

  • Candidates can apply through either XAT 2021 or GMAT score.

  • 180 seats in the one-year GMP programme is available for its aspirants.

Candidates of XAT 2021 must have a bachelor's degree at least to be eligible to apply for the XAT 2021. The candidates must have qualified XAT by 2021 only. 

Certificate from the Head of the Institute would Suffice Admission:

If any candidate is selected through XAT, candidates will have to produce a certificate issued by the head of the institution which will be used as a provisional certificate for admission through XAT 2021. 

XAT 2021 Eligibility Criteria for NRIs:

NRI candidates will have to apply through GMAT Score, so the applicants who have qualified GMAT will not have to appear for XAT 2021. Candidates can use the GMAT score to apply for XAT 2021.

How to Ensure a Candidate is Eligible for XAT 2021?

There are certain XAT eligibility norms which the candidate must keep in mind while applying for XAT 2021. 

There is no age restriction for the applicants of XAT.

Candidates applying for XAT 2021 must fulfill the XAT eligibility criteria which are

  • Candidates must have completed graduation
  • Completed any professional degree of CS/CA or ICWA
  • Candidates must be in the final year of the Bachelors Degree. 

The fulfillment of XAT 2021 eligibility criteria does not ensure consideration of the candidate. They will also have to qualify the XAT 2021.
