The last date to fill out the CAT 2025 application form was September 20, 2025. The CAT registrations for 2025 have now been closed. The CAT registration process 2025 began on August 1, 2025, and the registration deadline was extended from Sept 13 to 20, 2025. Students who were able to successfully fill out the CAT application form 2025 before the extended deadline were able to download their CAT 2025 admit card from November 5, 2025, from the official website @iimcat.ac.in. The direct link to CAT 2025 registration has now been closed.

The CAT 2025 exam was conducted on November 30, 2025, in three sessions. The official CAT 2025 exam calendar was announced on July 27, 2025, along with all other vital information about the CAT 2025 registration process. It is estimated that more than 3.5 lakh candidates will register for the CAT 2025 exam. The CAT registration fee 2025 is INR 2,600 for General category candidates and INR 1,300 for candidates in reserved categories.

Students can pay the CAT 2025 application form fee through Debit Card, Net Banking, Credit Card, or UPI. How to Fill CAT 2025 Application Form?

You must follow these basic steps to complete the online registration for the CAT exam 2025. The detailed procedure for filling out the CAT registration form is mentioned below.

Step 1: Register to Receive the User ID and Password

• To complete the CAT application form online, you must visit the official website and click on the 'Register' tab under ‘New Candidate Registration'.

• The CAT application form will open, and you must provide your details, such as Name, Birth Date, Email Address, Mobile Number, and Country. 

• Once all the details are entered, your CAT application form will be verified and authenticated through an OTP. 
• On successful registration, you will receive your CAT User ID and Password through Email and SMS. 
• Those who have already registered for the exam just need to click on the 'Login' tab under 'Registered Candidate Login' to go to the next step, which is filling out the CAT exam registration form.

Step 2: Log in to the CAT Website with System Generated User ID & Password

• The next step in completing the CAT registration form is to log in to the official website using the system-generated User ID and password. 

• Using these credentials, you can log in to fill out the CAT application form. You need not complete the application in a single session. You can log in multiple times to complete it. 
• In cases where you forget your password, you can get a new password by clicking on the ‘Forgot Password’ tab given on the ‘Existing User’ login window. You will receive the new password on your registered email IDs. 

Step 3: Fill out and Submit the CAT Application Form

Once you have logged in, your details will appear on the screen. To start filling out the CAT form 2025, you will be required to click on 'Go to Application Form.' In the application form, you will have to provide the following details:

• Personal Details (such as Name, Gender, Nationality, Category, Communication Address, Date of Birth, Father’s Name, Email ID, Mobile Phone Number, etc.)
• Academics Details (such as Scores of Class X Exam, Class XII Exam, Bachelor’s Degree Details, Master’s Degree Details, and Other Professional Course Details)
• Work Experience Details (if applicable, it will include industry type, number of months, etc.)
• Programs (this is where you have to mention the IIMs where you wish to study and the courses you wish to pursue)
• Test City (You will be allowed to choose any four test locations as per your preference)

Step 4: Payment of CAT Application Fee

Finally, you must pay the CAT application form fee (BillDesk, PayU or Paytm). You must upload the necessary documents (as mentioned above) in support of the details provided in the CAT form 2025. After the CAT registration payment, the application will be considered complete, and you will receive a confirmation email with your registered email IDs.
