Who is Eligible to Check CAT Response Sheet 2025?

Aspirants who appear for the CAT exam must be aware of the CAT response sheet and who is eligible to access the same. Candidates will be able to check only their own responses on the CAT exam using the CAT response sheet. Take a look at the eligibility criteria for accessing/downloading the CAT response sheet 2025:

• Candidates must have appeared for the CAT exam to access their CAT response sheet once it is released.
• Candidates will only be able to download the CAT response sheet and the CAT answer key for their own slots. For instance, if a candidate has appeared for CAT slot 1, they will be able to access the CAT response sheet and CAT answer key for Slot 1 only.
• Candidates must have a valid CAT User ID and Password to log in on the official CAT website to view/download the CAT response sheet once it is released.

How to Download CAT Response Sheet 2025?

Candidates can follow the steps provided below to download the response sheet for CAT 2025:

Step 1: Go to the official site of CAT i.e iimcat.ac.in

Step 2: Enter your CAT login credentials- CAT User ID and Password

Step 3: You will be redirected to a new page. Click on the 'Candidate Login for Raising Objection' tab and the response sheet will be displayed on your screen

Step 4: You can calculate your estimated scores through the CAT 2025 response sheet

Step 5: Download the response sheet and take a few printouts for future references

How to Calculate the CAT 2025 Score Using CAT Response Sheet?

Candidates can utilise the marking scheme of the CAT exam to calculate their scores. They can follow the steps provided below to estimate their scores.

• Find out how many questions are correct using the response sheet of CAT 2025.
• Multiply the total number of correct questions with 3. For eg., if the correct questions are 40 then after multiplying your scores will be 120
• After that, find out the number of wrong answers and multiply it by -1. For eg., if your 10 questions are incorrect then the final marks will be -10
• At last, subtract the scores of wrong answers from the scores of right answers. In this case, your final score will be 120-10 which will will become 110

Candidates who feel any answer in the response sheet of the CAT exam 2025 is incorrect can object. They can follow the steps provided below to file an objection:

Step 1: Visit the official website of CAT 2025

Step 2: Enter your login details on the login page

Step 3: Click on the "Challenge the Response Key" link

Step 4: Select the question that you feel is incorrect

Step 5: Tap on the Objection tab and click "+" to pose a doubt

Step 6: A new window will appear that will allow you to select the question type, section, and question. Based on last year trends, candidates will get the following options while challenging the response sheet of the CAT exam

• “Given Answer Key is Wrong”
• “None of the Options are Correct”
• “More than One Option is Correct”

Step 7: After entering the relevant details candidates must upload the necessary documents to support their objection. Candidates should note that they can raise any number of objections in the CAT exam answer key but they will have to pay an amount of INR 1200 as a raising objection charge.

What is the Purpose of CAT 2025 Response Sheet?

The CAT response sheet 2025 is an important tool that is required by candidates. The CAT response sheet will allow candidates to verify their answers with the correct answers after they have appeared for CAT 2025. Candidates can download the CAT response sheet released by the officials to not only verify their answers but also compare their answers with the correct ones to analyze their performance. However, the officials make it clear that candidates should only object to the CAT answer key if they feel an answer is incorrect and it needs to be changed. If the objections submitted by the candidates are found to be incorrect, the objection fee paid by the candidates will not be refunded.

It must be noted that the CAT response sheet of candidates is final and any re-checking of the response sheet will not be entertained, candidates may raise objections against the CAT answer key only. Aspirants must keep the following points in mind while downloading the CAT response sheet:

• The CAT response key of all three slots of the CAT exam will be released in PDF format along with the CAT answer key.
• Candidates must use the latest version of the internet browser they are using to avoid any issues while downloading the CAT response sheet. They should also have a reliable internet connection.
• Candidates are required to provide their login details when trying to access the CAT response sheet. Candidates must use their CAT User ID and Password to log in and download the CAT response sheet from the official website.
• Candidates must also make sure to take a printout of their CAT response sheet for future reference.

The final answer key will be released most likely in the third or fourth week of December 2025 along with the CAT 2025 result.

Apart from this, the IIM cutoff is expected to be released in the second week of January 2025. Those who have satisfied the CAT cutoff 2025 will be called for the CAT selection process 2025. The selection process will include a Written Ability Test, a Group Discussion, and Personal Interview rounds.
