ATMA 2026 Exam is a national-level test conducted for admission into various Management colleges in India. Candidates seeking admission in postgraduate management courses corresponding to MBA, PGDM, MCA, MCM, etc must appear for the ATMA 2026 exam. ATMA is conducted four to five times a year, especially in February, May, and July. Candidates qualifying for the ATMA 2026 exam become eligible for enrollment in the Indian Management Schools. The detailed eligibility criteria for ATMA 2026 examination are elaborated below:

• Only those candidates who are citizens of India are eligible to take ATMA 2026 examination. Also, there is no domicile restriction. 
• Bachelor’s degree is a mandate for all the candidates appearing for ATMA 2026.
• Candidates who are in their final year can also apply for the ATMA 2026 examination. But that would be provisional admission. However, the admission to management courses in various B-Schools that accept ATMA 2026 scores are based on the qualifying status of the applicants for the UG degree.
• All the applicants must have at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA in a three-year or four-year UG degree. Without the minimum eligibility marks, the candidates will be ineligible to register for ATMA 2026. However, the minimum qualifying marks for a UG degree vary from institute to institute.
• If any candidate has a backlog in graduation, he is still eligible to apply for the ATMA 2026 exam if he/she has secured a minimum of 50% aggregate in graduation.
• The previous university should be recognized by UGC. 
• Candidates who have completed CA can also apply.
• Candidates who appeared for the ATMA examination in 2023 or earlier can also apply for ATMA 2026.
• There is no age restriction on the applicants. No upper age limit has been prescribed by AIMS for management admissions. 
• Work experience is not necessary to apply for ATMA 2026 management admissions.

Qualifying Marks for ATMA Exam 2026

The minimum aggregate marks in graduation for the General category are 50%, while the candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD categories are eligible for a 5% relaxation. The category-wise qualifying marks for graduation have been tabulated below.

ATMA Reservation Criteria 2026

AIMS does not specify any reservation rules for the ATMA exam besides offering relaxation in minimum qualifying marks and application fees. Concession in fees is available for:

1. For Women: 25% Concession in Fees
2. For North Eastern States of India: 50% Concession in Fees

• SC/ST or OBC category students cannot avail themselves of a concession in fees. 
• Reservation standards might differ in different participating institutes, however, in this case, candidates need to write about the category in ATMA Application Form.
• No subsequent application to claim reserved seats will be entertained later.

ATMA 2026 aspirants must have an idea regarding the following important points:

• Applicants of any age can apply for ATMA 2026. There is no age limit prescribed.  

• Applicants who have previously applied for ATMA exam can apply again for the exam.

• Final-year graduation students are also eligible to apply for ATMA 2026.

• Applicants should have their Graduation degree from a recognized university.

• Candidates failing to meet the eligibility criteria of ATMA 2026 will not get admission.

• Verification of candidates’ eligibility may be done at any point in time.
