Important Details on CSIR NET Question Paper Pattern

CSIR NET 2025 will be conducted across science disciplines including Life Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Physical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Earth sciences. Besides the subject-specific section, test takers are required to attempt questions on general aptitude and research and teaching aptitude to clear the entrance. 1. The question paper of CSIR NET 2025 will be segregated into three parts namely Part A, B, and C. Part A and C will be compulsory for all while Part B will be subject-specific.
2. As per the previous year paper pattern, students have to answer around 15 general aptitude questions out of 20 questions from part A.
3. In the Part B sections, students have to choose a subject based on their last qualifying exam. They need to attempt around 65 to 75 questions; the number of questions will vary per subject.
4. Test takers need to focus on enhancing their knowledge base in research and teaching aptitude for part C. The question in this section will test student’s analytical skills.
