The DU LLB 2020 Entrance Exam was held on September 9 from 8 AM. to 10 AM by the National Testing Agency. The exam was administered via computer-based testing. The entrance exam was held with all precautions against the COVID-19 pandemic. Before being permitted into the exam hall, candidates were checked for their documents, body temperature, and sanitised properly.
According to the test takers, the exam was easier than they had anticipated. There were also questions about the Indian Constitution, Reasoning, General Knowledge and Current Affairs (from 2019 and earlier period), Politics, Environment, and the United Nations. Legal maxims and English topics received fewer questions.
The exam was organised on July 3, 2019. The National Testing Agency administered the DU LLB 2019 entrance exam on July 3. (NTA). From 8 AM to 10 AM, the entrance exam was held online in 18 cities across the country. According to the candidates who took the law entrance exam, the overall difficulty level of the paper was between moderate to difficult.
There were fewer General Awareness questions this year compared to last. The Legal Awareness section concentrated primarily on the Indian Constitution. Students found the Analytical Reasoning section as difficult to moderate. The section on English Language and Comprehension was simple.
English Language & Comprehension, Analytical Abilities, Legal Awareness & Aptitude, and General Knowledge were the four sections of the DU LLB 2019 entrance exam. There were 100 multiple-choice questions that candidates had to answer in 2 hours. Candidates were graded out of 400 marks.
In comparison to previous years, the overall difficulty level of the paper was moderate. According to the majority of students, more than 25 current affairs questions were asked; however, there were fewer current affairs questions this year.
In the exam, only two questions on the recent Supreme Court decision from Section 377 were asked. When compared to the prior year’s DU LLB entrance exam, there was a significant shift in the pattern. Many students commented that the questions were of CLAT level.
There were very few current affairs questions. The paper was primarily concerned with Legal Awareness. Even from Legal Reasoning, very few questions were asked. Many aspirants commented that some General Awareness questions were simple, while others were difficult. The Analytical Ability section was challenging.
