• Check Participating Universities: You should look at the list of universities that accept GAT B scores. This list is available on the Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB) website. Each college has different courses and seat numbers.
• Apply to Each University: You must visit the website of every university you are interested in. You have to fill out a separate application form for each college. Most universities will charge a small registration fee for this step.

Reservation Policy in GAT B Counselling

The Indian government sets rules to ensure that students from all backgrounds have a fair chance to get admission. These reservation rules apply to the seats available in all universities that participate in the GAT B exam.

• Scheduled Caste (SC): 15% of the total seats are reserved for students in this category.
• Scheduled Tribe (ST): 7.5% of the total seats are kept for students from this category.
• Other Backward Classes (OBC NCL): 27% of the seats are reserved for students in the Non-Creamy Layer.
• Economically Weaker Sections (EWS): 10% of the seats are set aside for students from the General category with low family income.
