The Graduate Aptitude Test in Biotechnology, famously known as the GAT B exam, is a national-level exam in India. The GAT B 2025 exam was held on April 20, 2025. Many students appeared for this test to join top universities. After the exam, the official results and cutoffs were released in June 2025.
The cutoff is the lowest mark a student needs to pass the exam. Each category, like General, OBC and SC, has a different cutoff mark. Knowing the cutoff helps students understand if they can get admission. It is a very important part of the admission process for science students in India. These marks depend on the category of the student and the difficulty of the exam.
The category-wise cutoff marks show the minimum score needed by students in different groups to pass. Each category has its own passing mark out of 240.
