IGNOU OPENMAT Mock Test

There will be no IGNOU OPENMAT mock test available since the exam is not conducted for the year 2022. IGNOU OPENMAT mock test is a drill conducted before the actual IGNOU OPENMAT examination. The mock tests are similar to the IGNOU OPENMAT final examination paper pattern and hence the marking scheme of the mock test helps the applicants to measure the level of preparation of the test-taker.

Steps to Practice IGNOU OPENMAT Mock Test

IGNOU OPENMAT candidates must take the mock test which is conducted by the National Testing Agency. Here are steps to avail the IGNOU OPENMAT mock test. Follow all the steps carefully in order to practice the mock test. 

Step 1: Visit the official site of IGNOU- https://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in/

Step 2: There are several tabs on the home page of NTA. Click on the “Student” tab.

Step 3: Find a drop-down list with an option named “ Mock Test Online”

Step 4: Find “Start Test” just below “Mock Test Online”

Step 5: Click on “Start Test” to begin with the IGNOU OPENMAT mock test

Step 6: A new page will be displayed with a box on the right-hand side. Click on the drop-down box to “Select the exam you would like to appear for” and also the name of the “Paper”.

Step 7: Click on “Start Mock Test” and log in

Step 8: A new page will be displayed with the instructions which have to be read before proceeding with the IGNOU OPENMAT 2021 mock test

Step 9: Check the box of “Terms and Conditions” and then click the “Proceed” button

IGNOU OPENMAT Mock Test Important Instructions

Candidates must know some important instructions regarding IGNOU OPENMAT mock test before taking one. Here are all the important pointers that the test-takers must be aware of:

Duration

The total duration of the IGNOU OPENMAT mock test is 180 min for the MBA candidates and the B.Ed candidates will get 120 mins. 

For B.Ed Applicants of IGNOU OPENMAT

Part A - Question number 01 to 80 are common for all subjects and all candidates. 

Part B - Question number 81 to 100 are subject-specific for all applicants

The timer will be set on the server which will be visible in the top right corner of the screen. As soon as the timer reaches zero the examination will stop by itself. 

Candidates can change the language of the examination by clicking on the “Profile” on the right-hand top side. There is a drop-down list, clicking on which the candidates would be able to change the language of the examination.  

To Answer a Particular Question

• Test-takers can click on the question number offered on the question palette which is given on the right side of the screen. Be very careful while choosing this option, cause doing this might not save the answer to the current question. 

• Candidates will have to click Save & Next in order to save the currently marked answer. 

• There is also another option to “Mark for Review & Next” which helps the applicants to save the current answer and mark it to review later and proceed with the next question.

• Candidates can shuffle between sections and attend the sections as per their convenience within the stipulated time. 

Answering a Multiple-Choice Based Question

• Click on the button of one of the answers to select the correct option for the question. 

• In order to deselect the selected answer, the applicant will have to re-select the selected option or click on “Clear response”

• If you wish to change the answer chosen, then select the button of the other answer you wish to select. 

• Click on “Save and Next” to save the selected answer.   

• The “Mark for Review & Next” option helps the applicants to save the current answer and mark it to review later and proceed with the next question.
