Want updates on IGNOU OPENMAT
IGNOU OPENMAT 2020 will be conducted in two sessions, in January and then in July 2020. Candidates need to be aware of the eligibility criteria before applying for admission to the management programmes at IGNOU. Candidates have to fulfill the criteria given below to get admission at IGNOU. Without meeting the eligibility criteria, no candidates will be able to get admission in the programme.
The first session is OPENMAT and the second one will be OPENMAT. Candidates can apply for either of the sessions depending upon when they want to take admission in the programme. The application form for IGNOU OPENMAT will be released on 31st January to 29th February 2020, and candidates will get less than one month to fill in the application form. Candidates need to be very careful with the form as any discrepancies in it will lead to rejection. The pen and paper-based entrance exam for MBA will take place on 29th April 2020.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of OPENMAT and a result card will be sent to the candidates who have appeared in the OPENMAT exam. The result card will state if a candidate has qualified or not qualified on the basis of the cut-off score as set by the University.

For Indian Candidates:
Bachelor’s degree should be of minimum 3 years duration.
The university has the right to accept/deny admission of any candidate.
Candidates who do not meet the eligibility criteria conditions mentioned in this post are not eligible to get admission into the mentioned programme.
For Foreign Nationals:
It is important to check the eligibility criteria due to the following
Firstly, the candidates in the final year of graduation or those who have completed their graduation can fill IGNOU OPENMAT form. Hence, the candidates who want to appear for the exam in 2020 need to meet the eligibility criteria of the exam or else their application form will not be accepted.
There is no age limit.
Women candidates belonging to the reserved category will also need some kind of relaxation.
