IIFT 2024 eligibility is specified by the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, which is also the conducting authority of IIFT. Candidates who wish to appear for the IIFT exam must ensure that they fulfil the IIFT eligibility criteria. Conducted on a national level, the IIFT exam is a gateway for aspirants to get admission in the two-year MBA course (full-time) in International Business offered at IIFT Delhi or IIFT Kolkata. As per the IIFT eligibility criteria, prescribed by the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, there is no age limit to appear for the IIFT exam, however, one of the basic requirements to become eligible for taking the IIFT exam is to attain at least 50% marks in Graduation, which should be a minimum of 3 years. Final year candidates are also eligible to apply for IIFT, however, such candidates are given provisional admission and are required to submit all the necessary documents later on. For General/SC/ST/OBC/PH
There is no age bar for the applicants of IIFT 2024.
Candidates falling in the General Category must have completed their Graduation from a recognised university/institute, with at least 50% marks in Graduation (minimum of 3 years).
For Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe ST)/ Physically challenged (PWD) candidates, minimum of 45% marks are required in the total aggregate of their graduate degree.
Candidates who are in their final year of graduation can also apply for IIFT 2024. In such a case candidates will have to produce relevant documents supporting their present semester or result awaited status latest by the first week of October 2024.
It is very important for the aspirants of IIFT 2024 to know that if due to any means they failed to produce documents related to their graduation degree, then their eligibility will also fail, restricting them to participate in the Entrance Exam of IIFT 2024.
Candidates who did not pass in Graduation are also not eligible for the IIFT 2024 Entrance Exam.
For Foreign National and NRI
A Foreign National and/or NRI candidate must first need to be a resident of a foreign land outside India for more than 18 months if they wish to apply for the IIFT Entrance Exam 2024.
GMAT scorecard is also a mandatory document in order to become eligible for the IIFT test. Candidates are asked to send their GMAT scorecard to the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) latest by the second week of February 2024.
Aspirants with a GMAT mark sheet dated before 1st January 2021 will not be considered as eligible for IIFT 2024.
Candidates who have been sponsored in any way will also fail to be eligible for the IIFT 2024 exam.
For Indian Nationals working, living, or studying abroad a certificate issued by the High Commission / Indian Embassy / Consulate of the Candidates present Country, stating that the candidate has been a resident of that country for not less than 18 months until 31st December 2021.
A valid passport or travel document is a must for candidates of Foreign nationality.
Candidates who have already appeared for MBA Entrance Exams like XAT, CAT, IIFT, CMAT, NMAT, etc. are not allowed to sit for IIFT 2024 examination.
