  • Practice Chapter Wise: It is important to practice chapter-wise and start from easy and go on to the question with a medium level of difficulty. This way you will also know what are your strengths.
  • Focus on the Basics: Don't miss out on the basic concepts of Maths and Grammar from classes 6 to 10. Revise regularly and also practice as many questions as you can covering all the important concepts. Also, go through the Math syllabus of classes 11 and 12.
  • Set Time Daily for Preparation: Keep some time aside, say 1-2 hours for IPMAT 2023 preparation. Focus on 1-2 Reading Comprehension passages, Maths, Grammar, and Vocabulary. 
  • Practice Mock Tests: Take out time to practice mock tests. For instance, set 1 day a week for mock tests, topic tests, and sectional tests. Mock tests will help you in managing time effectively. IPMAT 2023 Preparation Tips for Quantitative Ability

The Quantitative Ability section of the IPMAT consists of both MCQs and Short Answer type questions. It is also regarded as the most difficult section of the examination. Candidates are suggested to complete the syllabus ahead of time. To prepare well for the quantitative section, candidates must have a clear and firm grasp of the concepts and theories. They must practice calculations regularly. Here are some helpful tricks on how to prepare for IPMAT 2023 quantitative ability section:

  • Check out the IPMAT 2023 Syllabus for the quantitative ability section. Some of the important topics, that candidates must necessarily cover are Number Series, Ratio and Proportion, Data Interpretation, Data Sufficiency, Time and Work, Probability, Quadratic equation, Charts (Pie, Bar, Graph, Line), etc. 
  • The IPMAT question paper is expected to be simple and easy at the preliminary level. Therefore candidates must work efficiently to prepare well.
  • After completing the syllabus, candidates must also appear for the IPMAT Sample Paper 2023. It will help them familiarise themselves with the concepts and question format for the exam.

There are not many new topics to prepare for this section. However, Candidates must revise and brush up on their vocabulary, grammar, comprehension, and reading abilities.   • First and foremost, make sure to check the syllabus for the verbal ability section of the IPMAT 2023.

  • While reading, if you find any new word or unfamiliar word, note it down and later find its meaning and usage. It will tremendously add to the practice of learning new words.
  • Practice para jumbles, comprehensions, paragraph reading, and sentence corrections. 
  • Make a timetable that includes reading and practicing every day for the verbal ability section.
  • Be prepared to face idioms, sentence re-arrangements, phrases, meanings, and other such questions during the exams.
