IIM Indore does not release any official syllabus for IPMAT 2024. But based on the past trends of questions asked, we have curated the list of important topics for the various sections of IPMAT 2024. Candidates must go through the section-wise syllabus of IPMAT 2024 to have complete knowledge about the topics they will have to study for the exam.
In addition to making a plan as per IPMAT 2024 syllabus, candidates should also become familiar with all the important subjects of the examination. IPMAT exam 2024 will have questions from Quantitative Ability and Verbal Ability. Check the complete details about the IPMAT 2024 Syllabus on this page.
The IPMAT 2024 question paper is divided into three sections - QA (MCQ), QA (SA), and VA. Candidates must prepare for each of the sections separately and hence must have complete knowledge of the IPMAT 2024 Section-Wise syllabus to aid in their preparation. Candidates must note that the first two sections in IPMAT 2024 are both based on Quantitative Ability except with different types of questions.
The syllabus of both of the sections is common but candidates will have to practice solving the different types of questions from the common syllabus. The syllabus for the Verbal Ability section will be based on the English Grammar studied by a student at the school level. Candidates appearing for IPMAT 2024 can take a look at the detailed section-wise syllabus given below.
The syllabus for the Quantitative Ability sections in IPMAT 2024 is common for both MCQ-type and SA-type sections. The syllabus contains common topics that a student becomes familiar with at the HSC or SSC level. Check the detailed syllabus in the following table.

Questions in Quantitative ability are from topics such as percentage, profit and loss, simple equations, numbers, time and distance, time and work, averages, data interpretation, geometry etc. Questions in Verbal ability section are from topics such as grammar, vocabulary, sentence correction etc
