Candidates planning to appear for IPMAT 2023 which will be conducted on June 16, 2023 (Afternoon Shift) can check the IPMAT syllabus here before beginning their preparation. IIM Indore does not release any official syllabus for IPMAT 2023. But based on the past trends of questions asked, we have curated the list of important topics for the various sections of IPMAT 2023. Candidates must go through the section-wise syllabus of IPMAT 2023 to have complete knowledge about the topics they will have to study for the exam.
In addition to making a plan as per IPMAT 2023 syllabus, candidates should also become familiar with all the important subjects of the examination. The IPMAT 2023 question paper is divided into three sections - QA (MCQ), QA (SA), and VA. Candidates must prepare for each of the sections separately and hence must have complete knowledge of the IPMAT 2023 Section-Wise syllabus to aid in their preparation. Candidates must note that the first two sections in IPMAT 2023 are both based on Quantitative Ability except with different types of questions.
The syllabus of both of the sections is common but candidates will have to practice solving the different types of questions from the common syllabus. The syllabus for the Verbal Ability section will be based on the English Grammar studied by a student at the school level. Candidates appearing for IPMAT 2023 can take a look at the detailed section-wise syllabus given below.

IPMAT has questions from quantitative ability, quantitative aptitude and verbal ability. Yes, the new exam pattern of IPMAT 2020 allows calculator for most of the questions. Students can access the online calculator provided on the screen to save their calculation time.
