IPU CET 2022 Counselling Process (Ongoing)

The Counselling Process is being conducted for the IPU CET rank holders who have cleared the exam. All three rounds of counselling has ended and spot counselling has started. The Spot Counselling Round 1 has been released online. The 3rd round of IPU CET Cutoff was also released online. To start with, candidates have to register themselves for the counselling process. After the IPU CET registration process, all the documents submitted by the candidates are verified. The counselling process of IPU CET 2022 will be organised in both online and offline mode, depending on the course. Provided below is the direct link to IPU CET 2022 Counselling Process.

IPU CET 2022 Counselling in Online Mode

Candidates will first have to register themselves and pay the counselling fee. Additionally, candidates will also have to fill the colleges and courses according to their preference from the given list. The University is conducting online counselling for ten programmes [MBA, MCA, BCA, BA LLB/BBA LLB (Integrated), B.Ed, BBA, BA (JMC), LE to B.Tech (Diploma Holders), B.Tech/M. Tech Dual Degree/B. Tech, B.Com (H)]

IPU CET 2022 Counselling in Offline Mode

Candidates will have to carry the mandatory documents along with the counselling fee at the allotted centre. The offline counselling is taking place for programmes such as B.Arch, MA (Mass Communication), MPT, MOT (Neuro), MPO, M.Sc (EM) b, LLM (Regular), MA (English), MBA (IT), B.Sc. (Yoga), MA (Criminology), M.Sc (Forensic Science), M.Ed, M.Sc. (Bio & Conv.), BHMCT, Lateral Entry to B.Tech for B.Sc graduates, B.Tech (Bio. Tech), M.Tech (IT/CSE), M.Tech (ECE/DC/SP/RF & ME/VLSI), BAMS, BHMS, MA (Economics), M.Sc (Nursing), PGAC (Post Graduate Ayurvedic Courses) and so on.

The notification regarding the IPU CET counselling session will be released by the University and the counselling session will be conducted in multiple rounds. The 2022 counselling process of IPU CET will include Registration, Choice filling, Fee payment, Seat allotment and Reporting to the allocated colleges, wherein qualified candidates will be invited for counselling as per their streams, ranks and preferences are given in the IPU CET 2022 application form.

Detailed IPU CET Counselling Process 2022

The counselling process of IPU CET 2022 will be held only once for qualified candidates. As per the notified schedule of the IPU CET counselling, candidates will have to participate in the counselling rounds.

Note: It must be noted that while conducting counselling rounds, candidates with higher ranks will be given priority at the time of seat allotment.

The IPU CET 2022 counselling will be conducted in various steps.

Step 1: Payment of the IPU CET 2022 Counselling Fee

• To participate in IPU CET counselling, candidates will have to pay INR 1000 (non-refundable) as the counselling participation fee.
• Candidates can make the payment through Net banking/Credit or Debit card.
• After making the payment, candidates must take a print out of the online fee confirmation receipt.
• Payment of the counselling fee should be done before the last date.

Step 2: Registration for IPU CET 2022 Counselling

• After paying the counselling fee, the next step of the counselling is the registration process.
• Here, candidates will get their Login Id and Password.
• Candidates will have to fill in the required details to complete the registration procedure and verify the entered details before taking a printout.
• While registering, in case any candidate faces any issue, he/she must contact the helpdesk of the university immediately along with the proof of the fee deposit.
• To avoid the last-minute rush, candidates are advised to register at the earliest.

Stage 3: Choice Filling during IPU CET 2022 Counselling

• The main step of IPU CET counselling 2022 is choice filling.
• Here, candidates will have to fill the choice of colleges of their preference for seat allotment.
• Seat allotment will not be done without filled choices.
• Candidates are advised to carefully make their choices, as no candidate will be allowed to change their filled choices after this step. However, an opportunity to modify the choices made will be given to the candidates after the first round of counselling.

Stage 4: Seat Allotment after IPU CET 2022 Counselling

• Seat allotment will be done on the basis of candidates’ merit, category and choices/preferences filled.

• After each round of the IPU CET 2022 counselling, the result of seat allotment shall be published.

• The allotment of seats will depend on the availability of seats.

• For seat allotment, candidates will have to freeze the option and print the provisional allotment letter.

• To confirm the allotted seat, candidates will have to pay a part academic fee of INR 40,000.

• Candidates failing to report for admission will not be able to claim their allotted seat afterwards and their academic fees paid will also be forfeited.

What is IPU CET 2022 Spot Counselling?

IPU CET 2022 spot counselling process will be conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. It will be the last option for the aspirants to secure a seat at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU). Only those candidates who will appear in the IPU CET 2022 entrance exam will be eligible for the spot counselling round provided they clear the entrance exam with the minimum qualifying marks. 

The 2022 IPU CET spot counselling round will be conducted after the IPU CET 2022 counselling rounds conclude in offline mode.
