Predict NowJEECUP 2024 eligibility criteria has been released by the Joint Entrance Examination Council along with the information brochure on its official website. Candidates willing to appear for the JEECUP 2024 exam must check the JEECUP eligibility criteria 2024 before applying. As per theJEECUP 2024 eligibility criteria, candidates who pass class 10 with 35% aggregate marks and at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics can apply for UP Polytechnic entrance examination. Candidates must also be of Indian nationality. The minimum age limit is 14 years (as of July 1, 2024) and there is no upper age limit.
Before filling out the application form, it is important to check if the students meet the JEECUP 2024 eligibility criteria. If in case any candidate is found ineligible at a later stage their candidature will be cancelled. The eligibility criteria of JEECUP 2024 contain important information with regard to age, educational qualifications, domicile, and category and detailed information of the same can be found below:
Diploma - Candidates must have passed Class 10 exam from a recognized board and relevant stream with a minimum of 35% aggregate marks (minimum 50% in main subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics)
PG Diploma - A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution
Post Diploma - Candidates must possess a Engineering diploma from a recognized university
When filling the application form, it is essential to comprehend the JEECUP age restriction. There is no upper age restriction specified in the JEECUP 2024 eligibility criteria. To apply for the exam, individuals must be of Indian nationality and at least 14 years old by July 1, 2024. The JEECUP 2024 age limit for group A to I is given in the table below:

E1 and E2 | The candidate must have passed class 12th from a recognised board. The candidate must have studied Mathematics & Physics as the main subjects in 12th along with one of the optional subjects as Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology. |
F | The candidate must have passed B.Sc with the main subjects as Biology/ Biotechnology/ Chemistry. |
G | The candidate must have passed any graduation level degree. |
H | The candidate must have passed class 12th from a recognised board. The candidate must have acquired a minimum aggregate of 35% in the qualifying exam. |
I | The candidate must have passed class 12th from a recognised board. The candidate must have studied Mathematics & Physics as the main subjects in 12th along with one of the optional subjects as Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology. The candidate must have acquired a minimum aggregate of 50% in the qualifying exam. |
The JEECUP 2024 eligibility criteria for group K1 to K8 is given in the table below:
The candidate must have passed Intermediate in Science from a recognized board.
OR
The candidate must have passed Intermediate in Science with Vocational/ Technical subjects from a recognized board.
OR
The candidate must have passed an ITI trade of a minimum of 2 years duration in the applicable trade.
Candidates also need to make sure they meet the JEECUP age limit criteria to be eligible to apply. The age limit for JEECUP 2024 can be checked below:

Applicants with an Uttar Pradesh State domicile certificate can apply for the JEECUP 2024 exam. Candidates who have completed their class 10 and 12 from the state of UP are also eligible to apply. The conducting authorities may require candidates to produce evidence proving their residency, such as electricity or water bills for the past 6-7 years.
The Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination also provides reservation for the candidates as prescribed by the Uttar Pradesh Government. Note that the following reservation criteria is only applicable for the candidates of UP and all other candidates will be considered as General category.
