The MH CET Law merit list 2024 will be launched by the State CET Cell, Maharashtra, during the MH CET Law 2024 counselling. The lists are released separately for 5-Year LLB and 3-Year LLB. 

Initially, the alphabetical merit list is released by the conducting authority. Once the provisional merit list is declared, candidates get the opportunity to submit grievances related to it. The admission cell then considers the objections submitted by the aspirants and publishes the final merit list. MH CET Law 2024 Merit List Process

The authorities will compile the MH CET Law 2024 merit list using the candidates' MH CET Law scores. The merit list will include all candidates, regardless of MH CET Law qualification status. The list will have the candidates in descending order of their MH CET Law score. Those with a higher score will be ranked higher than the rest of the candidates.

The candidate with the highest marks in the MH CET Law will be ranked first, followed by the candidate with the second-highest marks.

Here are some crucial general instructions for MH CET Law 2024 for the 5-year LLB CAP Second Round -

• College options and preferences submitted for Round I will not be reviewed for the Second Round.
• Applicants who were assigned 1st Preference / Admitted in Round I are not eligible to participate in the 2nd Round Admission, with the exception of candidates who the admitting college rejected due to mark and document discrepancies and candidates who cancelled their admissions through college login.
• Aspirants who have selected the Betterment route and submitted the seat acceptance fee will not be allowed to select that specific College Choice Code.
• That College Choice code will be immediately inserted as the last alternative in Option Summary / Print to their selected options.

Three-Year Degree Course (LLB) —

The following categories of merit will be considered in case of a tie-breaker situation while preparing the merit list - 

• First importance shall be given to the Candidate having Post Graduate degree.
• Students who have a higher percentage of marks in Qualifying undergraduate examinations.
• A higher percentage of marks in aggregate at HSC or equivalent examination.
• Increased percentage of marks in aggregate at SSC or equivalent examination.
• Those participants who are comparatively senior.

Five-Year Integrated Degree Course (LLB) -

Here are the significant pointers in case of a tie-breaker for a 5-year LLB -

• Candidates with more percentage of marks in the qualifying examination, i.e., HSC or equivalent examination, will be given preference.
• A higher percentage of marks in the first language at the HSC or equivalent exam.
• SSC or equivalent examination with a higher percentage of marks.
• SSC or equivalent examination with a higher percentage of marks in English
• Elderly candidates will be given priority.

What after MH CET Law 2024 Merit List?

The counselling process begins once the MH CET Law 2024 merit list is released. Those selected for counselling based on the merit list must complete the MH CET Law counselling registration and pay the counselling charges.  

Participants who cannot secure a seat in Phase 1 may complete the remaining admission requirements by attending the succeeding rounds.
