NIT Tiruchirappalli has released the NIMCET application form 2026 on March 3, 2026. Candidates have to first register themselves and then proceed to fill the application form. The deadline to submit the application form is May 1, 2026.
The authorities will release the NIMCET admit card 2026 in May 27, 2026. Registered candidates will be able to download the NIMCET 2026 admit card online from the official website. Candidates need to first login using their credentials to download their respective admit card of NIMCET 2026.
The authorities will release the NIMCET answer key 2026 along with the response sheet, will be made available online for raising objections from June 10 to 11, 2026. First the preliminary answer key is released which is subject to objections. On the basis of the objections the authorities finally release the final answer key.
The authorities will announce the NIMCET result 2026 on June 29, 2026. The results will be available and can be downloaded in online mode. the NIMCET results by using the NIMCET result portal and logging in using their user ID and password. Shortlisted candidates will be eligible to participate in the NIMCET 2026 counselling.
NIMCET online registration and choice filling for NIMCET counselling 2026 will commence from June 30, 2026. The counselling process is conducted in multiple phases, and the NIMCET 2026 seat allotment result will be announced after each round. The NIMCET (National Institute of Technology Master of Computer Applications Common Entrance Test) exam is entirely MCQ-based. The NIMCET exam consists of 120 multiple-choice questions with four options each. The NIMCET exam is a computer-based test, and candidates must select the correct answer from the list of provided options.
The minimum NIMCET cutoff 2026 for the general category candidates is generally considered to be around 350-360 marks out of 1000.
