NIMCET 2020 Participating Institutes

The list of NIMCET 2020 Participating Institutes will be declared by the exam conducting authority on its official website. NIMCET is the entrance examination organized by National Institute of Technology (NIT) for the purpose of admission in Master of Computer Application (MCA) courses in the different NITs. There are 11 participating institutes for NIMCET. The candidates can check out the list of 2020 NIMCET participating institutes and start preparing for the one they desire for.

The NIMCET Examination is organized by the NIT in a rotational manner. The NIMCET 2020 will be conducted by the National Institute of Technology, Surathkal (Karnataka).To get the admission in one of these 11 NITs the candidates must also clear the cut-off which is declared after the result of the entrance examination is announced. Once the candidate is done with the NIMCET 2020 Examination, he/she can check the NIMCET 2020 Result and NIMCET 2020 Cut-Off.

How to Provide College Choices for NIMCET 2020

After the NIMCET 2020 Examination is over and the result for the same has been declared, the qualifying candidates will get a scope to appear for the admission process of their preferable and selected college. There are a few steps which should be kept in mind while the candidates enter the college choices for NIMCET 2020. These steps are mentioned below:

  • Candidates who clear the qualifying criteria will be awarded a rank card.

  • The rank card can be checked by the candidates right after the NIMCET 2020 Result will be declared (tentative date is June).

  • The candidates will then get an email from the conducting authority of NIMCET2020, which will consist of a link from where the candidate will be able to download the rank card in the pdf format.

  • The email will also provide the candidates with a new password and username to the Choice Filling Website.

  • The candidates should then log in and change the provided username and password according to their choice.

  • After that, the candidates can fill the choices of the participating institutes in order of their preferences.

  • The candidates can also change or modify the order of choices several times before final locking.

  • It is important for the aspirants to know that they are not allowed to access the choice page after they are done with the locking of the colleges.

  • The candidates should be very careful while filling the choices for colleges. Once the options get locked, it can’t be accessed anymore.

  • The institute with better placement and career opportunities should always rank up in the preference list of the candidates.

  • The candidates must be ready with required documents which are needed at the time of admission.

  • Once the documentation procedure of the college is complete no changes can be made.

  • The candidature of the candidates who fail to turn up for the final procedure of admission process will automatically get cancelled.
