NIMCET 2022 Participating Institutes

NIMCET is the entrance examination organized by the National Institute of Technology (NIT) for the purpose of admission in Master of Computer Application (MCA) courses in the different NITs.  There are 11 participating institutes for NIMCET. The NIMCET 2022 exams are over now and the result was declared on July 5, 2022. The NIMCET seat allotment for rounds 1,2 and 3 are conducted and now the final round of seat allotment will be conducted on August 27, 2022. The final round of reporting for admission at the allotted institute will take place on September 1, 2022.

The NIMCET 2022 will be conducted by the National Institute of Technology, Surathkal (Karnataka).To get admission in one of these 11 NITs the candidates must also clear the cut-off which is declared after the result of the entrance examination is announced. Once the candidate is done with the NIMCET 2022 Examination, he/she can check the NIMCET 2022 Result and NIMCET 2022 Cut-Off.

Candidates can check the official website of the participating institutes of NIMCET 2022 to know their position in the merit list released to churn out candidates for the Counselling Process. The counselling session of NIMCET 2022 will be done online.

How to Provide College Choices for NIMCET 2022

After the NIMCET 2022 Examination is over and the result for the same has been declared, the qualifying candidates will get a scope to appear for the admission process of their preferable and selected college. There are a few steps that should be kept in mind while the candidates enter the college choices for NIMCET 2022. These steps are mentioned below:

• Candidates who clear the qualifying criteria will be awarded a rank card

• The rank card can be checked by the candidates right after the NIMCET 2022 Result will be declaredon July 5, 2022

• The candidates will then get an email from the conducting authority of NIMCET 2022, which will consist of a link from where the candidate will be able to download the rank card in pdf format.

• The email will also provide the candidates with a new password and username to the Choice Filling Website.

• The candidates should then log in and change the provided username and password according to their choice.

• After that, the candidates can fill in the choices of the participating institutes in order of their preferences.

• The candidates can also change or modify the order of choices several times before final locking.

• It is important for the aspirants to know that they are not allowed to access the choice page after they are done with the locking of the colleges.

NIMCET 2022 Counselling

National Institutes of Technology, Jamshedpur has been conducting the NIMCET counselling 2022 from July 7, 2022.  The counselling will held in four rounds. NIMCET results will determine whether candidates are qualified to participate in the counselling process. The distribution of seats will be based on the results of the NIMCET 2022 exam.  At the time of reporting to the designated institute through NIMCET counselling, candidates must present the documents like admit card, rank card, category certificate, date of birth proof etc, in their original forms along with self-attested photocopies for verification.

NIMCET 2022 Seat Allotment

National Institute of Technology MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET) will conduct the NIMCET seat allotment for qualified candidates. Candidates who have passed the NIMCET 2022 exam are eligible for the seat allotment. The results of the NIMCET 2022 seat allotment will be released on nimcet.in. The ranking attained by applicants in the NIMCET test will be used to determine how many seats will be available for NIMCET 2022.
