The exam pattern of NIMCET 2024 will contain all the details related to the mode of the examination, total duration, subjects included, section-wise marks distribution and marking scheme, and types of questions asked etc. Applicants willing to sit for the NIMCET exam 2024 must know that as per the paper pattern, the entrance test will be conducted in online mode for a duration of 2 hours. The paper will have a total of 120 Multiple-Choice Questions from four sections - Mathematics, Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning, Computer Awareness, and General English. The total marks allotted to the exam will be 1000. A negative marking of 25% will be applicable for each incorrect answer. The NIMCET 2024 question paper comprises a total of 1000 marks
12 marks are awarded for each correct answer and 3 marks are deducted for each incorrect answer in the Mathematics section
6 marks are awarded for each correct answer and 1.5 marks are deducted for each incorrect answer in both Computer Awareness and Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning sections
4 marks are awarded for each correct answer and 1 mark is deducted for each incorrect answer in the General English section

For each correct response, candidates are awarded 12 marks, 6 marks and 4 marks as per the section.
