The NIMCET 2023 exam was held on June 11, 2023. National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur conducted the NIMCET exam 2023. The exam commenced at 09:00 AM and concluded at 11:00 AM. The duration of the NIMCET-2023 examination was two hours.  The NIMCET question paper 2023 consisted of 120 multiple-choice questions with four choices for each question. All rough work was to be done in the Test Booklet only. No separate sheet was provided for the rough work. The exam was conducted for 1000 marks.

The NIMCET 2023 exam was moderately difficult with Mathematics being the lengthy section. The Mathematics section was considered moderate to difficult, with a number of time-consuming problems. Questions were asked from topics such as algebra, calculus, and coordinate geometry. The section of Analytical Ability and Logical Reasoning was easier which involved straightforward reasoning tasks evaluating logical patterns and sequences. Computer awareness questions focused on fundamental computer concepts, boolean algebra and binary arithmetic. The easiest section was that of General English as it covered grammar, vocabulary, synonyms, and comprehension.
