NIMCET Result 2026

NIMCET 2026 Result will be released in June 2026 via online mode at www.nimcet.in. To access the result of NIMCET 2026, candidates will have to enter their User ID and password. Candidates who pass the entrance exam shall be eligible to participate in the NIMCET 2026 counselling and seat allocation process.

How to check the NIMCET 2026 result?

As soon as NIT releases the NIMCET 2026 scorecard on its website, candidates can follow the step-by-step procedure mentioned below to view and download it:

Step 1: Visit the official website at www.nimcet.in and click on the 'NIMCET 2026 Scorecard' link

Step 2: Enter your login credentials, i.e. User ID, Password and Captcha

Step 3: After entering the details, the NIMCET 2026 result along with the rank card and qualification status will be displayed on the screen

Step 4: Lastly, download and take a printout of the NIMCET result 2026

NIMCET 2026 Qualifying Criteria for Rank Allotment

The minimum qualifying criteria for the NIMCET 2026 rank allotment can be checked below:

• Candidates securing '0' marks or negative marks in NIMCET 2026 will be considered disqualified.

• The allocation of rank for the NIMCET 2026 qualifiers will be based on his/her NIMCET score of 2026

• The maximum weighted mark for the NIMCET exam 2026 will be 1000. The marks obtained by the candidates in Mathematics, Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning, Computer Awareness and English will be multiplied by a factor of 3, 1, 5, 2 and 1.

• The ranking in the NIMCET 2026 exam will be completely based on the total weighted marks obtained by the candidate.

NIMCET 2026 Tie-Breaking Policy

There is a possibility that two or more candidates score the same marks in the NIMCET 2026 result. In that case, the tie-breaking rule will be implemented. If there is a tie in the NIMCET 2026 exam for two or more candidates, the tie-breaking rules are as follows:

• Priority is given to candidates who score higher in Mathematics

• If a tie still persists, candidates who scored higher in logical reasoning are given preference.

• If the tie still exists, candidates who score better in the Computer Awareness topic will be ranked higher.

• If all of the aforementioned requirements are not met, the candidate who is older is given priority.
