Predict RankNIMCET 2026 Seat Allotment: The National Institute of Technology (NIT) will release the seat allotment result on the official website tentatively in July 2026. The seat allotment is done in phases. Initially, the list of vacant seats is released by the conducting authority, and candidates are allowed to make the choices among the vacant seats. After completing the choice filling process, the conducting authority releases the NIMCET 2026 seat allotment result.
The NIMCET 2026 seat allotment is released on the basis of the candidate's merit, web options provided, and the availability of seats. The NIMCET 2026 seat allotment is done as follows:
The seats for NIMCET 2026 will be allotted on the basis of the rank obtained by the candidates in the test as well as the priority of choice filled by the candidates. The candidates will have to report to the allotted institute at the mentioned time and date. Remote reporting will be allowed only for the first and second rounds of seat allotment.
The candidates will have to bring their original certificates and proof documents along with them to the institute for verification. The candidates will also have to pay the seat locking fee along with providing their option (Freeze/Float) in the admission form.
The candidates will be provided with a provisional admission letter. The candidates who have opted for upward movement will have to wait for the next round of seat allotment.

After the NIMCET 2026 seat allotment, the candidates will have to submit their choices for either locking the allotted seats or going for upward movement. Finally, the students will have to report to the allotted institute for document verification and admission. The candidates have to pay the initial fees once they have accepted the seat allotment letter; the fees need to be paid before the due date. Any delays in the submission of the initial fees might lead to dismissal.

Yes, it is mandatory for the applicants to pay their initial fees after the seat allotment to reserve the seats. No payment of fees might lead to dismissal from the college.
It is the choice of the applicants to accept or reject the seat, but if you are getting a seat at a good campus in your preferred courses you should accept the seat allotment and proceed with initial fees payment.
