Applicants shall have to download the seat allotment letter form nimcet.in by logging in with their User ID and Password. Following that, they shall have to pay partial fees to confirm their seat and report to the allocated institutes for admission as per the dates mentioned.
The NIMCET 2024 seat allotment will be released for four different rounds on the basis of the candidate's merit, web options provided, and the availability of seats. It is to be noted that without a copy of the seat allotment order and payment receipt, no candidate shall be granted admission. The NIMCET 2024 seat allotment is done as follows-
The seats for NIMCET 2024 will be allotted on the basis of rank obtained by the candidates in the test as well as the priority of choice filled by the candidates. The candidates will have to report to the allotted institute at the mentioned time and date. Remote reporting will be allowed only for the first and second rounds of seat allotment.
The candidates will have to bring their original certificates and proof documents along with them to the institute for verification. The candidates will also have to pay the seat locking fee along with providing their option (Freeze/ Float) in the admission form.
The candidates will be provided with a provisional admission letter. The candidates who have opted for upward movement will have to wait for the next round of seat allotment.

After the NIMCET 2024 seat allotment, the candidates will have to submit their choices for either locking the allotted seats or going for upward movement. Finally, the students will have to report to the allotted institute for document verification and admission.
The conducting NIT will release the list of NIMCET participating institutes 2024 along with the information brochure. As per the previous year's data, a total of 813 seats are present for admission to the NIMCET participating colleges. The NIMCET participating institutes are located in Allahabad, Agartala, Bhopal, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Kurukshetra (self-financing), Raipur, Surathkal, Warangal, and Tiruchirappalli. Every year, one of these participating institutes of NIMCET conducts the entrance exam and releases a merit cum seat allotment list.
