Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Committee conducts the OJEE choice filling 2026. The choice filling for OJEE 2026 allows students to enter their preferred choices for admission to UG/PG courses. The choice-filling process is held online, and only those students who qualify for the exam can participate. OJEE 2026 choice filling generally starts in June. Following the OJEE choice filling the OJEE 2026 seat allotment result is released by July.   

If you pass the OJEE 2026 exam or have a valid rank in GATE, JEE Main, GPAT, CAT, MAT, XAT, NIMCET, and ATMA, you are also eligible to participate in the OJEE 2026 counselling process.

OJEE Choice Filling 2026 Step by Step Process

Here is the step-by-step process for OJEE choice filling 2026 that you can follow. 

• After you have registered for the counselling process and paid the registration fee, you will be able to begin with the choice filling option

• After successfully completing the counselling registration, you will have to click on the Fill Choice option

• There, you will find some instructions that you must read 

• On the choice filling page, you will find two blocks, one of which contains a list of OJEE 2026 participating colleges and the other will contain the choices you fill

• You can add multiple college choices to make sure that there is no disappointment in the future for not securing a seat

• It is important that you have arranged these colleges in the order of your preference 

• You must also choose a branch along with the college. For instance, if you are applying for B.Tech Mechanical Engineering, your choice could be “College of Engineering and Technology (CET), Mechanical Branch” and this will be considered as one choice

• You will be able to swap or move your choices or options to change your preferences 

• You can and should select as many choices for colleges and branches as possible on the basis of their priority to have better chances of getting a seat

• Finally, when you are done filling all the choices, you can either click on ‘Save & Continue’ or ‘Submit’ button

How to Modify OJEE Choice Filling 2026?

If you want to change the college and branch preference after you have submitted the form, you can follow the steps given below. 

• Log into the website using your credentials

• Now click on the ‘Modify Selected Options’

• You will now be able to see the entire choice-filling list. Change the preferences of the intended college

• After you are done, click on the ‘Update’ button

OJEE Choice Filling Options

During the OJEE 2026 choice filling, students can exercise the following options. 

Move-Up Choice

The student can move up any submitted choice by clicking the "Move Up" button. When the student selects the "Move Up" button, the choice above is relocated one position higher, and the choice above is shifted one position lower. This allows the applicant to move up any choice in the list of submitted selections.

Move-Down Choice

The student can move down any submitted choice by clicking the "Move Down" button. When the student selects the "Move Down" button, the choice below is relocated one position up and the one above is shifted one place down. This allows the applicant to move down any choice in the list of submitted selections.

Arrange Filled Choices

There is a separate interface for organizing the completed options. On a single page, the student can remove, move up, and move down any filled-out choice.

Interchange Filled Choices

This interface allows the student to interchange/swap two of their provided choices during the OJEE 2026 choice-filling process. This page will have two drop-down lists. These lists will be populated by the completed options. The student will select different options from the menus and push the interchange button. As the student presses the button, both options will be switched.

Rearrange Choices

A separate page will be there for changing/editing the preference order of multiple submitted options during the OJEE choice filling 2026. On that page, all submitted selections will be shown in order of preference, with the preference number modifiable. The student can update any preference order with a valid number and submit the changes with new preference orders.

Multiple deletions of filled-in choices

If a student wants to erase numerous submitted options in one go, he or she will use this interface. For each submitted choice, there is a checkbox to select the choice. The student can choose many options and then click the delete button to remove them all at once.
