TS ECET Result 2024 - Tie Breaking Rule

TSCHE adopts a rule to decide the candidates' ranks if two or more applicants in the TS ECET 2024 exam obtain the same score.

For Engineering

• Higher scores will be awarded for the engineering course
• Applicants with higher Mathematics scores will receive greater marks if there is still a tie
• Candidates with higher Physics scores will receive higher marks if a tie still exists
• Candidates with identical grades in all four subjects will be bracketed for the purpose of awarding ranks, and age will be taken into consideration when it is time for admission if a tie still exists. Candidates with a higher age will be given preference 

For B.Sc (Mathematics)

• Candidates with higher marks in Mathematics will receive greater marks
• If the tie still persists, the candidate with a higher percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination will be given higher rank
• If the tie still exist, the applicant who is older will be granted a higher rank

For Pharmacy

• Candidate who will have a higher percentage of scores/marks obtained in the TS ECET 2024 exam will be given higher rank
• If there is a tie, the candidate who is older will receive a higher rank
