If the marks of two or more candidates in TS POLYCET 2023 exam are the same, the authorities will use the following tie-breaking rules in the given order to determine the rank of the candidates.
1. Candidates with higher marks in Mathematics will be given a higher rank
2. If the tie still persists, candidates with higher marks in Physics will be given a higher rank
3. If the tie still persists, candidates who is older in age will be given a higher rank
4. If the tie still persists, the candidate with higher marks in the qualifying exam will be given a higher rank
