UPSC CMSE 2024 Computer-Based Test
The first step to get selected for the UPSC CMSE conducted by the UPSC is to clear the Computer-Based Test of UPSC CMSE 2024. All those candidates who qualify the same will be eligible for the second step of the UPSC CMSE 2019 selection process. The candidates will be required to clear the Computer-Based Test with the minimum required cut off marks, which will be calculated out of 500, to be eligible for the next step of the selection process.
UPSC CMSE 2024 Personality Test
The Computer-Based Test qualified candidates will be called up for the personality test or interview which will be conducted for 100 marks by the UPSC authorities. The authorities will assess the expertise of the candidates in their field of study and general knowledge in addition to certain other things such as social cohesion ability, intellectual curiosity, etc.
Physical Fitness
Once the candidates get a nod from the interview conducting authorities, they must prove their medical and physical fitness to the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Following proving their physical and medical fitness, the candidates will receive a confirmation from the authorities regarding their selection in the UPSC CMS. The whole recruitment process consumes one year.
