Get VIT Engineering Entrance Exam Papers For Free
VITEEE is a gateway for candidates to get admission in B.Tech courses offered at the prestigious VIT University. Those who are preparing to take the exam must be thinking of all the things they could probably do to ensure they achieve the best results on the day of the exam.
Trust NCERT Books
You should know that your NCERT text books of Class 11 and Class 12 are all you need to prepare for all the four subjects, based on which you will be evaluated in the exam. About 55% of the VITEEE question paper has questions from Class 11 and 12 syllabus. The reason is that the syllabus of 11th and 12th introduces students to concepts that they would need while pursuing further education. Therefore, the suggestion is not to pick up any new study material at the last minute and trust NCERT books.
No Negative Marking
One of the biggest advantages that you have in VITEEE is that there is no negative marking. You have the liberty to try your luck and attempt as many questions as possible. Therefore, the fear of the deduction in marks on attempting questions and giving wrong answers does not exist as far as VITEEE is concerned. However, you must also keep the time factor in mind while attempting questions that you're not sure about. Do not miss out on the ones you know while guessing answers for others!
Time Management
During exam time, the most important thing to do is to manage your time well. Avoid wasting time on a particular question if you feel that you cannot solve it. Instead of spending more time solving the tough questions, focus on the questions that you know you can solve quickly. However, the first step to judge a question is to read it carefully. Do not start solving questions without reading them completely.
Revisit Short Notes
For all those who believe in the concept of making short notes, this could be the smartest way to revise the entire syllabus at the last minute. Making short notes (in the form of flash cards or micro note) is extremely helpful at the time of revision. Whether you have to revise formulas or revisit a concept, all that you need for revision would be the short notes you had made while preparing for the examination. By constantly checking these notes, you will be able to revise all the topics in your syllabus without having to reach out for the books.
Question Papers/Sample Papers/Mock Tests
Since there is only one week left for the exam, the best thing to do right now is to practice as much as you can. There are so many previous years' questions papers, sample papers and mock tests available online that you can take to become familiar with the exam pattern and the type of questions that are usually asked in this exam. Try to attempt all the questions in the sample papers/mock tests within a fixed time to be able to give your best shot on the exam day.
There are a number of coaching institutes in India that provide the best of preparation material and plans to the students. For VITEEE, we have listed some coaching centres that offer quality teaching and provide regular mock tests to students so that they become familiar with the exam pattern and get a comprehensive understanding of the VITEEE syllabus. If you wish to crack the examination to get admission into the programme of your choice, check out our List of VITEEE Coaching Centres that have been added to the list based on their popularity among students and academic record.
