The XGMT registration process was started by XIM University on August 21, 2023. According to the extended deadline, candidates seeking MBA admission to XIM University must fill out the XGMT application form by December 28, 2023. Candidates for XGMT 2024 must fill out personal, academic, and communication details throughout the online application process. Candidates must upload a photo and their signature in the appropriate format after filling out all the necessary details. Finally, the candidates must submit an application and exam fee for XGMT 2024.

Candidates who submit their online applications by the deadline, i.e. December 28, 2023, will receive their XGMT admission cards on January 20, 2024. In order to take the computer-based test from the centre, candidates are required to carry their XGMT admit cards, also known as the X-GMT hall ticket. Candidates will not be allowed admission to the exam hall if they do not have their XGMT admit card. The XGMT 2024 exam admit card will include important information, such as personal details submitted while filling out the application form, the exam date, information on the test centre, and more. On the day of the X-GMT 2024 exam, officials at the examination centre will verify these details.

On February 9, 2024, XIM University will conduct the XGMT 2024 exam. On the official website, xim.edu.in, candidates will be able to verify the XGMT 2024 exam date. The XGMT exam dates will also be listed on the X-GMT 2024 admit card. The XGMT 2024 exam will be conducted in Mumbai, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, and Bangalore. The exam will be conducted online as a Computer Based Test (CBT) with MCQs for a span of 2 hours. Questions will be asked from Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation, Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning, and Emotional Quotient and General Awareness. For one correct answer, +3 marks are awarded. 1 mark is deducted for each incorrect answer. No marks will be deducted for unattempted questions.
XGMT 2024 results has been made made available. Candidates can visit the official website, xim.edu.in, to obtain the XGMT result 2024. XIM University publishes the XGMT result as a scorecard, rank card, merit list, or rank list. Candidates may either login to download their rank card or score card or download the XGMT merit list in PDF format, depending on their availability. Candidates who meet the requirements will be shortlisted for the WAT and PI stages of the admissions process. Candidates must have their XGMT scorecard with them when they appear for the WAT and PI rounds.

The dates for the WAT & PI rounds for XGMT 2024 will be notified to the candidates in advance. Candidates who qualify for the X-GMT 2024 exam with the minimum cutoff marks released by XIM University, Bhubaneswar, are considered eligible to take part in the X-GMT selection process for MBA admission. At the time of the selection rounds, candidates must download and bring their X-GMT 2024 scorecard. The final scores are calculated taking into consideration the candidate's performance in the Writing Ability Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds.

Regular MBA and MMS-BF applicants at XIM University are not required to have prior work experience; however, to be considered for executive MBA programmes, applicants must have at least 3 years of professional experience at the executive-level after receiving their qualifying degree in the public, private, or nonprofit sectors, or 5 years of work experience if they are self-employed.
Candidates are allowed to apply to multiple programmes by filling out a Common Application Form or Separate/Individual Application Form. Candidates must use a single Login ID and Password for applying to multiple programmes.
All MBA/MMS-BF/Executive MBA shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a Group Discussion (GD) and Writing Ability Test (WAT), if the selection process is conducted offline. It will then be followed by a Personal Interview, as part of the admissions process (PI). The dates for the WAT/GD/PI rounds will be announced by XIM University Bhubaneswar on its official website.
