To make corrections to the JEE Main 2026 application form, candidates will have to log in to their registered accounts using their application number and password at the official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in. However, the correction in the application form is limited to certain sections like name, mother's or father's name, educational details, state code eligibility, medium of exam, etc. On the other hand, candidates will not be able to change the details like mobile number, email ID, photograph, etc.
Earlier, the JEE Main application process for 2026 was carried out between October 31 and November 27, 2025. To fill out the JEE Main registration form for the January session, candidates had to follow the steps, which include i) Registering on the official JEE Main website, ii) Filling out the detailed application form, iii) Uploading required documents such as a photograph and a signature, and iv) Paying the application fee through online modes
The application form for the April Session will be released by the end of January 2026. Candidates are advised to carefully check all details during registration and use the correction window if needed to avoid any discrepancies.
The registered candidates are also advised to go through the JEE Main eligibility criteria 2026 to know the basic details of the exam. NTA conducts the JEE Main 2026 Application Correction process, allowing candidates to make edits to their application form through the website: jeemain.nta.nic.in. Applicants who complete and submit the JEE Main Application Form before the deadline are only permitted to make adjustments (if any) to the form. It must be noted that not all the sections of information provided in the form can be edited by the candidates. Other than exam cities, JEE Main aspirants will be allowed to change some details like category, language, name, image, etc. The correction is open for a few sections only. Once the final correction is done, no further changes can be made to the application form. Only the candidates who complete the JEE Main 2026 Application Fee payment will be allowed to make the corrections.

When will the NTA not provide a refund for JEE Main Application 2026?
When the candidates have applied for both the JEE Main papers and have chosen to attempt one, NTA will not provide a refund for the other paper. Hence candidates must be vigilant during their JEE Main registration process.
After the completion of the JEE Main 2026 Registration, candidates will be able to get their JEE Main Admit Card.
