AIBE 2019 Syllabus XIII has been announced by the Bar Council of India on September 26, 2018. It is very important for the students to go through the syllabus to prepare for the exam. Students appearing for AIBE 2019 will get an idea of the type of questions and the marking scheme after checking out the syllabus. This will also help them with their preparation, they can prepare topic wise notes and assess the areas where they are lacking and focus on their strengths. Candidates will also know which topics are important and which topics are not that important as only on the basis of this exam, candidates will get the Certificate of Practice.
It is also important to keep visiting the official website so that candidates are aware of the regular updates. They can also take a look at the last year’s question paper and get an idea about the kind of questions that will be asked in the exams. However, AIBE is for those law students who have completed their law education so the questions that are asked will cover all the major topics. It is also an open book exam so the students need to carry all the relevant books and study material for the exam. There will be multiple choice questions in the exam and candidates can attempt the examination in 11 languages-Hindi, English, Gujarati, Bengali, Assamese, Marathi, Kannada, Punjabi, Tamil, Oriya, and Telugu.
Prior to going through the syllabus, candidates are advised to go through the AIBE exam pattern 2018. With the help of the AIBE syllabus 2018 and test pattern, candidates will become more familiar with the structure of the exam.
Listed below are the various sections which are a part of the AIBE XIII 2019 syllabus
Code of Civil Procedure-This section will have questions pertaining to the Indian criminal law, functioning of the courts and clerks and judgment process.
Family Law-This section will have questions related to adoption, domestic partnership, marriage, surrogacy, juvenile law, child custody, and paternity.
Constitutional Law-This will have topics from judiciary, parliament, human right and international rules and norms, customary law.
Labour and Industrial Laws-This will have laws relating to employment terms, workers, employees, discrimination and child labour.
Public Interest Litigation-This will have questions regarding legal practices for helping the poor or downtrodden or to bring about a change keeping in mind the public interest.
Cyber Law-This will have questions pertaining to the internet, software, electronic commerce, and computing.
Evidence Act- This will have questions relating to this act of 1872.
Indian Penal Code-This section deals with public tranquility and criminal conspiracy.
