CUCET Application Form 2021

To apply, applicants had to fill the CUCET 2021 application form in online mode by clicking on the direct link updated on this page. While registering for CUCET 2021, applicants were required to fill separate application forms if they wanted o to apply for more than one course. As part of the CUCET 2021 application process, applicants had to pay the application fee of CUCET 2021 in online (Credit/Debit card or Net Banking) or offline (payment at State Bank of India) mode.

Note: CUCET application fee depends on the course an applicant is applying for and the mode of payment.

CUCET 2021 Application Form: Things to Keep in Mind

  • CUCET 2021 application will not be accepted if the payment of the application fee is not successful.

  • Candidates who want to apply for more than three participating universities, an additional fee needs to be paid. 

  • Candidates are allowed to apply for not more than three participating central universities.

  • Candidates paying through SBI challan may have to wait for around 7 days to receive the confirmation notification of acceptance of CUCET 2021 registration form.

  • After successful payment of the CUCET 2021 application fee, an automated mail shall be sent to the candidate on the registered email id and phone number. 

How to select an exam centre for CUCET 2021?

  • CUCET 2021 gives the provision of selecting two test centres according to the preference of the candidate.

  • If the candidate belongs to none of the allocated exam centres, they must choose the nearest test city to their place. 

  • Candidates will not be allowed to change the CUCET 2021 Exam Centre. 

  • The conducting body of CUCET 2021 holds the authority of not holding the exam in the given exam centre if less than 100 candidates register for the same. 

Step by Step Application Process of CUCET 2021

Step 1: CUCET 2021 Registration

  • To fill the CUCET application form, applicants have to first register themselves.

  • To register, applicants have to choose the course for which they are applying.

  • To continue further, applicants have to fill their Name, Date of Birth, E-mail ID, Mobile Number and Verification Code.

  • After entering the details, a unique user Application ID is generated.

Step 2: Filling the CUCET 2021 Application Form

After getting the Application ID, applicants have to fill the following details:

  • Personal Details

  • Preferred Exam Centre

  • Details of Qualifying Exam

  • Address of Correspondence

Step 3: Uploading of Images

Applicants have to upload his/her Photograph and Signature as per the given specifications.

Instructions for Scanning Photograph and Signature for CUCET 2021  

Signature Image for CUCET 2021

  • The applicant must sign on white paper in Blue/Black ink. 
  • Nobody besides the applicant must sign.
  • The signature shall be used for the Hall Ticket and other places if required. 
  • Dimensions of the signature image must be 140 x 60 pixels. 
  • Size of the file should be between 10 to 50 KB.
  • The signature uploaded during the application process and the signature on the answer script at the time of examination must match. 

Photograph Image for CUCET 2021

  • The photograph must be against a light-coloured or white background. 
  • Look at the camera with a relaxed face.
  • Angular photo will not be acceptable. Make sure it is a front face photo. 
  • A squint-eyed photo will not be acceptable. Keep your eyes open. 
  • Make sure there is no red-eye in the photo. 
  • Size of the file must be between 20 to 50 KB.
  • If you wear glasses, make sure there is no reflection and your eyes are clearly visible.
  • Photos with hat, cap, dark glass will not be entertained. 
  • Religious headwear in the photo will be allowed but it must not cover your face. 

How to scan?

  • Set colour to true colour. 
  • Set the scanner resolution to only 200 dpi (dots per inch).
  • If the face is not clear in the uploaded photo, then the application may be rejected.

How many test centre cities can I select for CUCET?

Candidates can select only two test centre cities to take CUCET according to their preference. The management has the right to not conduct the exam in the selected city in case less than 100 candidates select it.

What are the required specifications to upload images for CUCET application?

The file size of the candidate's 200X230 pixels passport-size photograph should be between 10 KB and 100 KB and the resolution of the signature should be 140X60 pixels of 5-20 KB. In order to apply to additional participating institutes under CUCET, candidates must avail the add-on facility by paying an additional fee of Rs. 800/- (Gen/OBC/EWS candidates) or Rs. 350/- (SC/ST candidates) for UI and PG programmes and Rs. 1000/- (Gen/OBC/EWS candidates) or Rs. 450/- (SC/ST candidates) for RP programmes.

What is the application fee for CUCET?

The CUCET application fee depends on the category that the applicant belongs to. For integrated/undergraduate programmes, General/EWS/OBC candidates need to pay Rs. 800 whereas SC/ST candidates need to pay Rs. 350. And, for Research Programmes (RP) under CUCET, General/EWS/OBC applicants are required to pay Rs. 1000 and SC/ST applicants shall pay Rs. 450. No application fee is payable for PwD candidates.

Will I get any confirmation mail after submitting CUCET application form?

Yes, you will receive an automated e-mail and SMS on the registered contact number and email address upon successful submission of CUCET application form.
