In order to prepare well for IBSAT 2018, candidates must go through the syllabus of IBSAT 2018 in detail. Knowing the syllabus well in advance will help aspirants plan better for the exam. IBSAT is conducted by IBS for shortlisting candidates for its management programmes. The exam is meant to evaluate students on the basis of their Vocabulary, Quantitative Ability, Data Adequacy, Data Interpretation, Analytical Reasoning and Reading Comprehension.
By getting a complete understanding of IBSAT syllabus 2018, candidates will be able to identify the topics/areas they need to cover while preparing for the exam. Therefore, having a brief knowledge about IBSAT syllabus is essential for the candidates to ace the exam. Candidates are advised that they should practice the Previous year Question Papers which are based on different topics covered in the exam in order to perform better in IBSAT Exam.

In this section, candidates will be judged based on their numerical ability and problem-solving skills. The questions in this section may come from topics such as Algebra, Ratio and Proportion, LCM, Time and Speed, HCF, Geometry, Statistics, etc.

In the Reading Comprehension section, candidates will be required to read passages and answer questions based on them.
In the Verbal Ability Section, candidates' knowledge of the English language will be tested. Candidates will have to answer questions based on topics such as Sentence Correction, Synonyms, Fill in the Blanks, Antonyms, Idioms, Grammar, etc. The number of questions asked in this section is higher as compared to other sections.
