ICFAI Foundation prescribes the exam pattern of IBSAT 2020 for admission to various MBA/PGPM and PhD courses. Detailed Structure of Section 1: IBSAT 2020 Data Interpretation and Data Adequacy

  • There will be 30 questions from this section

  • The difficulty level of this examination would be easy to moderate 

  • Logical reasoning and Critical reasoning are the major sections from which questions are asked in this section of the paper. 

  • Evaluation is also done basis data interpretation skills of the candidate. 

Detailed Structure of Section 2: IBSAT 2020 Verbal Ability

  • There will be 50 questions from the section of the paper

  • Candidates will be evaluated basis their proficiency in English language, Vocabulary, Grammar and Reasoning Skills. 

  • This section of the paper is usually easy 

Detailed Structure of Section 3: IBSAT 2020 Quantitative Aptitude

  • There will be 30 questions from this section

  • The candidates have been evaluated basis their Mathematical and Logical abilities. The candidates must be quick at solving such questions. 

  • This section of the paper is moderate to difficult.

Detailed Structure of Section 4: IBSAT 2020 Reading Comprehension

  • There will be 30 questions from this section

  • Here the candidates will be given 4 unseen paragraphs 

  • There will be 5 to 9 questions from each of the paragraphs. These question may or may not be very direct questions. 

  • This is a moderately difficult section of the examination. 

IBSAT Marking Scheme 2020

  • Each question in the examination carries one mark.

  • There is no negative marking in IBSAT. Hence, candidates should try and answer all the questions even if they feel their answers could be incorrect.

How to Answer Questions for IBSAT 2020

Each of the IBSAT 2020 questions will have four options for each, candidates will have to choose any one of the four options given. Only one answer can be chosen for one correct answer. Candidates must know that the difficulty level would be medium and hence the candidates will have to choose one answer in order to answer the question. If the candidate tries to select two answers, as soon as they select one the other one would be deselected.
