KEAM 2019 Result

KEAM 2019 Result will be announced in the online mode by CEE Kerala on or before 25th May 2019. In order to check the KEAM result 2019, candidates will have to log in to the result portal by using their credentials. There is no provision for sending the scorecards of the candidates in offline mode. After the declaration of result, authorities will release the KEAM 2019 rank list which will be prepared based on class 12 scores, and KEAM 2019 marks i.e the two scores are taken in a ratio of 50:50. It will be announced for Engineering, Architecture, MBBS/BDS, Medical & Allied, and Ayurveda courses. Candidates who will score the minimum qualifying marks as specified by CEE Kerala will be declared as qualified. 

A separate rank list for each course is released and it is prepared based on the marks scored in Paper I and Paper II. On the basis of the rank list, the candidates will be able to appear in the KEAM 2019 counselling process. The counselling process of KEAM 2019 will be commenced from the last week of June 2019. It will be organized through the CAP (Centralised Allotment Process).

How to View KEAM Result 2019

By following the steps given below, candidates can access their KEAM 2019 results:

  • Log on to the official web portal of KEAM i.e www.cee-kerala.org

  • Enter your Application number and Password

  • After entering the details, click on ‘Submit’ button.

  • The KEAM result 2019 will appear on the screen.

  • Download or take a print out of KEAM result 2019 for their future use.

Details Mentioned in KEAM Scorecard

The scorecard of KEAM 2019 contains the following details:

  • Application Number

  • Candidate’s Name

  • Marks secured in KEAM

  • Qualifying marks of KEAM

  • Roll Number

  • Category

  • Rank of Candidate

KEAM 2019 Rank List

All eligible candidates will have to submit their class 12 marks or equivalent examination score for Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry/Computer Science/Biotechnology/Biology within the given time limit. These marks will be used to prepare KEAM 2019 rank list. When preparing the rank list, equal weightage will be given to marks obtained in KEAM 2019 (Paper I and Paper II) and qualifying examination scores. The authorization will follow the standardization process to prepare the rank list.

Qualifying Marks in KEAM 2019

  • In order to qualify the entrance exam and be included in the rank list of KEAM 2019, the candidate will be required to obtain at least 10 marks in each paper ( Paper I and Paper II). 

  • If a candidate is unable to meet the prescribed minimum qualifying marks of KEAM 2019, then they will not be included in the rank list. Not only this, the candidate will not be considered for KEAM 2019 counselling and seat allotment process.

  • However, for SC/ST candidates there is an exemption. For reserved category candidates, there are no minimum marks. But these candidates will have to answer at least one question in each paper, otherwise, they will be disqualified. 

Tie-breaking Policy for KEAM 2019

In case of a tie between the scores of two or more candidates following criteria will be applied to select the candidate:

  • The candidates with higher marks in Mathematics in KEAM 2019 will be placed higher.

  • If the tie remains, candidates who score more in Physics will be placed higher.

  • If still there is a tie, then candidates with higher standardized marks in Mathematics of class 12 will be placed higher.

  • If still, the tie remains, then higher standardized marks in Physics during class 12 examinations will be placed higher.

  • If the none of the above options works, then the candidate who is older in age will be placed higher.
