Good Score & Rank in KEAM 2023: KEAM is an entrance exam for admission in B.Tech and B.Pharm courses in Kerala, and it is mandatory to clear this entrance exam to be eligible for the Centralized Admission Process (CAP). KEAM exam is divided into Paper 1 & 2. While Paper 1 & 2 is applicable to candidates aspiring for B.Tech admission, Paper 1 is applicable to those aspiring for admission in B.Pharm. The subjects of Paper 1 exam are Physics and Chemistry, and Paper 2 is only conducted in the Mathematics subject. Each Paper consists of 120 questions, and 4 marks are awarded for each correct attempt. The total marks for each paper are 480. Candidates applying for B.Tech must note that the total marks in the KEAM exam are 960 (both Paper 1 & 2), and the same is 480 for B.Pharm aspirants.

KEAM 2023 Qualifying Marks
In order to feature in the rank list of B.Tech/ B.Pharm, the candidates will need to score a minimum of 10 marks in the KEAM exam. For SC/ ST, there is no minimum mark required to be included in the rank list. However, in order to get admission in one of the best colleges of the state, students are advised to follow the state level class 12 syllabus along with CBSE Class 12 Syllabus which will help you in understanding the basic concepts.

KEAM 2023 B.Tech Rank List Procedure
Unlike other entrance exams, CEE Kerala follows a process where the total marks secured in the entrance exam is computed to 300 (instead of 960) and marks secured in board exams (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) is computed to 300. To prepare the rank list, CEE Kerala assesses the candidate’s performance out of 600 marks (entrance exam score + board marks).
Good Score in KEAM 2023 for B.Tech Admission
For B.Tech aspirants, the KEAM exam is conducted for 960 marks. There is a negative marking in the exam where a minus 1 mark is applicable for each wrong attempt. There will be 50% weightage for Class 12 marks in preparing the rank list and 50% weightage is given to entrance exam score. As per this weightage, the total marks in the entrance exam and board exams is computed to 600 marks.

Good Rank in KEAM 2023 for B.Tech Admission
Usually, the number of takers of the KEAM exam exceeds one lakh every year.
