KEAM Merit List 2019

The Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE), Kerala is responsible for preparing the KEAM merit list 2019 which will comprise of the names of those candidates who appeared for the KEAM 2019 entrance exam and have cleared the same.  The merit list of KEAM 2019 which will be published by CEE Kerala cannot be used by the candidates other than applying for admission into the KEAM 2019 participating colleges offering various professional courses.

The CEE Kerala authorities will release a separate KEAM 2019 merit list for the courses like Architecture, BAMS, B.Pharm, Engineering, MBBS etc. The KEAM 2019 merit list will be valid for a certain period of time. The validity period of the merit list will vary course-wise.

The candidates must note that the KEAM 2019 result and merit list will be released by the authorities separately. The merit list of KEAM 2019 is expected to be released on or before the 20th of June 2019. The candidates must also ensure to double check the details mentioned in the KEAM merit list 2019 such as ranking, category etc and if they find any kind of discrepancy in the merit list, they must inform the CEE Kerala office of the same without any delay. The authority will publish a final merit list after considering all the objections raised by the candidates.

It is to be noted by the candidates that their admission will solely depend on their fulfilment of the KEAM 2019 eligibility criteria mentioned in the prospectus even if the candidate has secured a good rank in the merit list.

Course-Wise KEAM Merit List 2019

The course-wise KEAM merit list 2019 is been provided below which will highlight the factors to be taken into consideration during the KEAM 2019 merit list preparation:

KEAM Engineering Merit List 2019

The given pointers will be considered while preparing the Engineering merit list for KEAM 2019:

  • The merit list will be prepared by considering the scores obtained by the candidates in both the paper I & paper II and marks obtained by the candidates in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics combined at the qualifying exam level

  • The merit list will be prepared for KEAM 2019 after processing the marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance exam through the standardisation process

  • The marks obtained by the candidates in each subject at the qualifying exam will be computed out of 100 while the marks obtained by them in the entrance exam will be computed out of 300

  • The merit list will display the number obtained by the candidates out of 600 marks

  • If any candidate’s result is released in the CGPA/OGPA/letter grade format, then he/she have to submit the mark sheet received from the concerned Authority/Board for the standardisation process. Any candidate who fails to do so, the standardisation of marks will be done on the basis of the result of the nearest year

Standardisation Formulae

Y(Bg)= M(g)+ S(g) {X(Bj)- M(Bj)/S(Bj)}

Where;

  • Y(Bj)= Standardised Mark and “B” stands for the stream and “G” stands for standardised with respect to the Global Reference

  • M(Bj)= Mean marks out of 100

  • S(Bj)= Standard deviation of the marks out of 100

  • j= Year

  • X(Bj)= Marks out of 100 for the subject in the stream “B”

KEAM Architecture Merit List 2019

The Architecture merit list for KEAM 2019 will be prepared keeping in mind the following things:

  • Merit list will be prepared by taking into consideration the NATA score and marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying examination

  • The marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying exam will be computed out of 200 while the marks obtained by them in the NATA entrance exam will be computed out of 200

  • The merit list will contain the marks scored by the candidates out of 400

  • If a candidate is awarded grades instead of marks in the qualifying examination, it will be converted into equivalent marks

KEAM MBBS/BDS/BHMS/BSMS/BUMS Merit List 2019

The merit list for KEAM 2019 MBBS/BDS/BHMS/BSMS/BUMS courses will be prepared in the following ways:

  • While preparing the merit list, the NEET-UG score along with the qualifying exam score will be considered

KEAM Ayurveda Merit List 2019

KEAM ayurvedic merit list 2019 will be prepared by:

  • The candidate’s NEET-UG score and qualifying exam score will be used to prepare the Ayurveda merit list 2019

  • Candidates who studied Sanskrit as a second language in their 10+2 level (or equivalent) will be awarded 8 additional marks to their NEET-UG score. Such candidates must submit their course certificate along with the online application form

KEAM B.Pharm Merit List 2019

The KEAM B.Pharm 2019 merit list will be prepared on the basis of:

  • Marks obtained by the candidates in Chemistry in KEEE paper I and which will be multiplied by 2.25

  • Marks obtained by the candidates in Physics in KEEE paper I

  • The marks obtained by the candidates in KEEE paper I Chemistry and Physics subjects will be combined and will then be multiplied by a factor of ⅔ and then the index marks will be calculated which will be used for ranking the B.Pharm course candidates

  • 480 will be the maximum index score
