MAH M.Ed is conducted by the CET Cell, Maharashtra, every year to offer admission to the M.Ed course. The test is held in online mode in selected exam venues across the state and in some centres outside the state. The overall mark is 100, and there are 5 sections: Educational Philosophy and Educational Sociology, Educational Psychology, Educational Evaluation and Educational Statistics, School Administration and Management, and Information and Communication Technology and Research Aptitudes.

About MAH M.Ed CET 2026

MAH M.Ed 2026: The MAH MEd 2026 application form will tentatively be issued in December 2025. To apply for the exam, you must have completed B.Ed, BA BEd B.SC B.Ed, B.El.Ed, D.El.Ed (with an Undergraduate Degree with 50% marks per course) or an equivalent qualification from a recognised university. The minimum marks accepted for the application are 50% for the General Category and 45% for other categories, including SC, ST, OBC, SBC, VJ/DT- NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), and NT(D).

MAH MEd is organised in online mode in chosen venues across the state and some outside it. The exam assesses the students’ knowledge on subjects as Educational Philosophy and Educational Sociology, Educational Psychology, Educational Evaluation and Educational Statistics, School Administration and Management, and Information and Communication Technology and Research Aptitudes. 

The total duration of the test is 90 minutes and will likely be held in March 2026. The results are usually announced within a month or so after the exam. Those who qualify in the MAH MEd can participate in the MAH M.Ed CET counselling process.

MAH M.Ed CET 2026 Application Process

The MAH M.Ed CET 2026 application form is released by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Government of Maharashtra. To fill up the application form the candidates have to register on the official website. The application process is discussed below in steps.

  • Go to the official website of the State Common Entrance Test Cell (Maharashtra).
  • Click on the "Apply Online" link to fill in the MAH M.Ed CET 2026 application form.
  • New users have to first complete their registration process by entering their name, contact details and a valid email ID. After the registration is completed, candidates will get a provisional registration number and password in their Email ID and mobile number. 
  • After completing the registration, candidates must log in to the portal with the already provided registration number and password and fill in the online application form.
  • Upload the required documents and passport-sized photographs.
  • Pay the registration fee online through credit/debit card or net banking and finally click on the ‘Submit’ tab.

MAH M.Ed CET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

  • Students should be of Indian origin.
  • There is no age restriction as long as the exam takers comply with all the rules set by the State Common Entrance Test Cell (Maharashtra).
  • Those interested in applying for the M.Ed course should have a minimum of 50% (for Unreserved category candidates) aggregate marks in B.Ed/BA B.Ed/ B.Sc B.Ed (4-year Integrated course)/ B.El.Ed/D.El.Ed with an undergraduate degree. 
  • The Backward class category applicants from the State of Maharashtra belonging to SC, ST, OBC, VJ / DT-NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), and NT(D) will get 5% relaxation, i.e., they must secure 45% marks to become eligible for the MAH M.Ed CET 2026 exam.

Note: All those who belong to OMS or All India candidature belonging to all categories must have 50% aggregate marks in their qualifying examination.

The results of MAH M.Ed CET 2025 have not been released yet. The MAH M.Ed CET answer key was released on April 21 and candidates could submit their grievances against it until April 23. It is expected that the MAH M.Ed CET result 2025 will be released in May. Yes, you can apply for MAH M.Ed CET 2025 if you are in your final semester of the B.Ed course. The last date to submit the MAH M.Ed CET application form is February 13, 2025. If you are from the state of Maharashtra, you must have at least 50% marks in your B.Ed degree while the minimum marks required from students outside the state is 55% (for general category).
